People think that if you're rich, you won't have any problems. Yes, it's true that being rich has many benefits, but not every time. Yes, money is happiness, but many times it's a burden. His father's constant pressure and expectations weighed heavily on him, making him feel like he had no control over his own life. His father loved to show him off in public, saying that he was a perfect heir and was his best choice, but he never told him that he was proud of him as his son. He is just an heir to his father.

They said that they love him and always spoil him with gifts and money, but they never show that. All he got was scolding, neglect, punishment, a scrutinizing look, and very high expectations that if he failed to complete them, he would be scolded or get punished.

His younger sister and brother were free to do as they pleased. They both were spoiled, and his parents only expected them to have marks above 80, don't get into any scandals, and look attractive and presentable. His siblings were close to each other but never to him. They and he were just like roommates who ganged up on a single person.

Umi, Yukina, and Akise were his first real family rather than his own family. What a joke!

If Y/N doesn't even know what he wants to become, he can't say that he doesn't want to be an heir; then his whole existence would become a joke and a waste. His first real hobby was volleyball, which has a very special existence for him.

Volleyball is his salvation .

He'll win no matter what. After all, he doesn't like defeats.

Our team with my son as the captain is the strongest," , Mikota answered.

Washijo and Shiratorizawa guys froze , ' Son !!!!!!!!! '.

" I said it at least a thousand time  , I'm not your son" , Y/N replied annoyed and then looked up at Ushijima .

The captains shook their hands and said, "It's such a long time, Ushijima-san, since your defeat at the nationals. Thank you for having us here so that we can say how much you have improved ", Y/N said with a sarcastic smirk.Ushijima looked at him with his usual stoic face and said, "It's our pleasure to have you all here."We are also looking forward to seeing how much you have improved and if you are a good captain after your previous captain", Ushijima said with a tightened grip.

Y/N froze hearing the word previous captain, but he didn't show it on his face or in his actions. He has become good at faking his emotions and actions, thanks to his family and previous incidents.

Ushijima didn't realize the impact of his words and didn't notice their impact on Y/N.

Shiratorizawa and Fushicho Academy always had a rivalry between them. Shiratorizawa most of the time gets defeated by them, both being prestigious, but Fushicho being more prestigious fueled up the rivalry.
