Niall: It had been a full 24 hours since I'd seen Maggie. I fingered the strip of paper with he number on it. My phone was on my leg. I was trying to decide if I really wanted to call. I mean of course I wanted to, the question was if she wanted me to. I had ran over our conversation a hundred times but I couldn't make up my mind. Do you ever want a date with your life long crush? a little guy in my head screamed. The other little guy kept reminding me I had always had a crush on her and didn't want to screw up. What was I supposed to do? I decided I'd wait until later that night.

Maggie: I could feel my phone against my leg in my pocket as I went over my lines. It may as well have been burning into my skin for how well I felt it. It had been 24 hours since I gave him the number. I thought maybe he liked me. I wish I had his number. I mean then I could call him. I really wanted him to call me. Was he just not into me? I kept trying to tell myself maybe he was too afraid. That he did want to talk to me but was too afraid. It didn't do much good. I still felt as though that wasn't the case.

I gave up on working on lines, realizing it was useless. I couldn't consentrate. I grabbed a snack from the refridgorator in my trailer. Finally I felt my phone vibrate in my jeans. I pulled it out. I didn't recognize the number. I answered, "Hello?"

"Um, hi, this is Niall," Niall said. I tried to hold back my excitement.

"Oh, hey," I said. Good thing I'm an actress.

"So I was curious if you wanted to go on a date on Friday. Um, I could call you again for details-" I cut him off.

"Friday works great, " I said.

"Um, okay," I could hear the smile in his voice.

"So yeah call me when you have some more details. Or I mean I could call you," I said.

"I can call you, " he said. I nodded.

"Okay so see yah," I said.

"Yep," Niall said. Then I hung up.

Niall: I felt as though I was floating on a cloud. "SHE SAID YES!" I screamed. I was on top of the world and no one was bringing me down.
