When Mirai and I got to the hotel, I noticed a couple things. One: Everyone else was already there. Two, Tomoka had finished baking her sweets-which turned out to be chocolate chip cookies-and now everyone was eating some. Three... Monokuma was there.
"Finally! You two took your time, didn't you? Way to keep a bear waitin'!" he shouted.
"Why are you here?" I said, already feeling angry.
"Slow your role, kiddo! I'm just here to go over some rules! And not only that, but to give y'all a lil' somethin'!" he explained. He then walked over to me and Mirai and held out a small device that looked similar to a phone. I reluctantly grabbed the one that he shoved towards me. When I held it up to my face, it suddenly turned on. It displayed the word 'e-Handbook' on it in bright, blue letters. It then disappeared and showed me another screen that seemed to have a bunch of... information on me?!
"What is this thing..?!" I asked, surprised.
"It is called an e-Handbook. It's like our own personal device while we're here." Izumi explained. A few others nodded.
"Bingo! At least someone was listening to me!" Monokuma exclaimed. "And for a lil' refresher for the two of you..." he looked at Mirai and me. "This nifty device will show you lots of different things, including some info on everyone here, the rules while yer' all here, and- well, I think I'll save the rest for later! Please go over the school rules while you have the time! Monokuma out!" and with that, he left.
"Should we... really look?" I heard Mirai say.
"Can't hurt," Shikumo said.
"Exactly! Like you guys are suspicious of everything! It's pretty annoying, you know." Ishibuko said. I looked over at him. I saw that he had a black bag strung over one of his shoulders. Did he get that from the supermarket?
Before I could ask about it, the others continued with the conversation. "I'm with this dude." Aoi said, pointing to him. "I say we look." And with that, she and a few others started to look at the devices dubbed 'e-Handbooks'.
I hesitated, but I eventually began to look at it again. But before I could get to reading what was on it, Tomoka came over to me. "Hey! You guys made it just in time! The cookies are still warm!" she held out a tray with two cookies on it. "I hope you guys like them!" I went ahead and grabbed one and told her thank you. I took a small bite out of it. As I did, I felt the gooeyness of the chocolate in my mouth. These are amazing!
"These are wonderful!" Mirai exclaimed. "Thanks Tomoka!"
"Of course! I'm glad you like them!" she then looked at me. "What do you think?"
"They're amazing! Maybe you'll have to teach me sometime, ahaha!" I said, half joking.
"I would love to! Oh, and Mirai, you could come, too!" Tomoka said, really invested in the idea.
"Sure! I'd love to!" Mirai agreed.
"But anyway... we should get to these e-Handbooks. Talk to you guys later?" I nodded at Tomoka in response. She waved bye and I went back to the little device in my hands.
On it was a little home screen that showed a picture of me, as well as some info:
Sachi Yayo

What the-!? How did he even... What..? I couldn't even think.
I then noticed an arrow that was pointing to the right on the screen. I went ahead and pressed it. The screen then changed, and was titled: 'Regulations'. The following consisted of:
1. No littering! I don't wanna pick up after you!
2. Night time hours are from 10:00 P.M. to 8:00 A.M. Some appliances and areas you will not be able to use or enter during these hours.
3. Only two people can be killed per murderer
4. Only the person who actually kills another will be able to leave, so accomplices are useless!
5. In the scenario in which someone kills someone else, there will be a class trial, in which you must find out who the blackened (murderer) is!
6. If you figure out who the culprit is, then they will be punished for their actions!

8. If the blackened gets away with it, they will be able to leave here scott free!
9. If three or more people discover a corpse, then the body discovery announcement will go off.
10. Destruction or hiding of any type of security cameras or speakers is strictly prohibited!
11. If any rules need to be added, I won't hesitate!
(P.S. punks: Don't you even think about defying Monokuma!)
"Dammit... So he's really serious about this, isn't he..." I said out loud.
"Unfortunately..." Mirai said, not looking up at me.
There was a silent feeling of uneasyness spread across the room. Nobody talked until a while.
"W-Well... Now what should we do?" I heard Hikari ask.
"I-I don't know..." Yukiya said quietly.
"Maybe... We should try and do something to keep our minds off of this whole situation." Aiko suggested.
"Yeah, good idea." I agreed. I turned to Mirai. "I think that I might decide to go to sleep... Do you mind me heading up to your room?" I asked her.
"So you're gonna sleep it off? Yeah, probably a good idea. That's the best way to not think about it, right?" Mirai said. "And, yeah I don't mind. Can I go to yours?"
"Yeah, it's fine with me..." I told her, already wanting to be in bed.
"So I'll see you later, then?" she asked.
"Yeah... Bye." I started to walk off, waving. I didn't look behind me, but I figured that she was waving, too.
By the time I made it to Mirai's room, I was already feeling groggy and tired. I just want this day to be over... I want to go back home.
I went ahead and entered Mirai's room. I noticed a couple things when I walked in. The layout was pretty much the exact same as mine. Her bed sheets were a light pink, and she had a small bunny rabbit plushy on it. Ahahaha... That's so cute.
I looked around a bit more and saw that there was also a window and desk, just like my room. The desk had some sewing things on it, as well as patterns and the sort. I didn't bother going over to the window. Instead, I flopped down on the bed, just like I had earlier that day. I quickly got under the covers. Hopefully Mirai won't mind... I grabbed the bunny. If I go to sleep with this...
I then closed my eyes, hoping that sleep would come to me soon. Luckily, I was able to block all the thoughts threatening to enter my mind. Within a couple minutes, I was fast asleep.
