 "M-Me?! What are you, crazy?! I didn't do shit!" Aoi threw her hand out and put the other on her chest. "You're being unreasonable!"

"Then why'd you take the sewing kit with you?" I questioned. "And just so we're clear, saying something like "I forgot to put it back" isn't gonna cut it.

"...I-I..! But what if I really did?!" Aoi asked rather loudly.

"Then if you noticed you had it, why didn't you put it back?" Amy asked.

"Surely you would've noticed it would've made you suspicious if you kept it." Allie rolled her eyes. "Unless you're just that dumb."

I glanced over at Izumi. She seemed to be staring intently at Aoi, as if trying to get her to do something. "...Izumi." I said without thinking.

"Yes?" she asked.

"You knew about this, didn't you? You knew that it was Aoi all along." my eyes narrowed into slits. "So then... now that we've figured out that it's her-"

"You haven't figured out anything! You know shit! That's all! You're all just a bunch of dumbasses!!" Aoi suddenly shout.

"Hey! I'm not a dumbass! I'm actually really smart! Because I know that two plus a backwards two equals a fish!" Ishibuko suddenly shout.

No one said anything,

"...Wow. How smart of you." Aoi rolled her eyes.

"Sh-Shut up! It's true!" Ishibuko pointed at her.

"...Anyway." Chidori started. "Izumi, will you finally let us continue now?"

I heard Aoi start to say something, but before she couls, Izumi cut her off. "I think it would be best... for you to finish siguring out the rest of the case."

"Like what?" Haru asked.

"M-Maybe... Are y-you talking about... How S-Shikumo got t-there..?" Hikari asked.

"Huh?" I looked over at her. "But didn't we agree that he was killed in the barn?" I asked.

"W-Well... I-I mean... t-technically... we didn't figure out...w-why he was e-even there in the first place..." Hikari explained.

"She's right." Mirai chimed in. "We didn't. But how could we find out something like that?"

"Maybe h-he w-was abducted..?" Yukiya suggested.

"Or maybe he was already there for some unknown reason?" Tomoka asked.

"Perhaps he was invited." Aiko also said.

"...Or maybe we should all just give up on this topic, yeah? It's not like we're gonna find out anyway!" Aoi shouted.

"That's just because you don't want us to find out it was you, though, right?" Mars cocked their head.

"Even if that were true, there isn't any evidence that points to why he was there!" she yelled.

"...As much as I hate to admit it... " I said, "I think she may be right. There isn't any way to come to a conclusion on that particular problem."

"...Then let's move on to something else, yes?" Mirai suggested. "Maybe... back to the sewing kit problem? I'd like to ask Aoi something that surrounds it."

"Go ahead, but I likely won't have an answer for ya'." Aoi sneered.

"If you did indeed take the sewing kit, which we know you did, where did you put it afterwards?" Mirai asked.

"Where did I... Put it afterwards..?"Aoi repeated.

"Yes, that is what I asked."
