Chapter six

(Katie's POV)

While we were eating people started to go up on stage to get ready to sing. Since we were we didn't have to worry yet. By the third person someone came. someone that I would have never imagined coming.
Christian Forest and his give other friends!
I recognized them they are always hanging out together around school everyone knows them.
There is Byron, Vincent, Tyler, Jake and Daniel. They have nicknames like the mighty six. But mainly 'The six pack.' You wouldn't guess why they are called that. If you guessed that they have a six pack abs....drum roll.....you are absolutely right!! They are all cute but Byron and Jake are currently taken by the cheerleaders.

( A/N: I don't remember if I described how Christian looks)

Christian has brown hair almost black with dark brown eyes.

Byron has long brown hair and green eyes.

Vincent has blonde hair with brown eyes.

Tyler has brown hair with blue eyes.

Jake has dirty blonde hair with green eyes.

And Daniel had blonde hair with dark brown eyes.

They are sitting four booths away from our booth. Right in front of ours that little bastard. Now I'm even more nervous! If I mess up he will tease me about it. If he thinks I sound horrible he is still going to tease me about it.
Only me and Mercedes can see him, I don't think Mercedes saw them just yet.

Just pray Katie. Pray that he leaves. Five more people left till me and Mercedes go up.
"Katie are you ok you look a little pale?" Izzy asked.

"You guys I'm going to mess up. What if they see-"

"What is who sees?"

I pointed behind them and they saw.
There mouths formed an '0' shape.

"Katie don't worry."

"How am I going to not worry if I mess up or sound horrible I won't here the last of it!" I started to panick.

"Ok Katie we get it your scared but think about it this way I know you are going to sound great we have sung this song together millions of time. When you sing there going to listen and say wow I didn't see that in her and congratulate you just like Christian did in P.E today-" I cut Mercedes off

"Wait you saw that?"

" Honey everyone in that class did, anyway where was I?" She asked " Damn I forgot anyway you are going to do great just pretend its only me and you singing. We're going to do great." She hugged me.

I hugged her back."Thanks Mercedes your the best."

"No problem what are best friends for." she said.

Ok two more people now till we go up.

"I'm gonna go to the bathroom, I'll be right back." I started to walk away.

"Katie you better be back in time!" They yelled at me and I turned around and gave them a thumbs up.

I walked past Christians table and him and his friends looked up he winked and all of them smirked I walked faster.
'Stupid, stupid control yourself. Don't blush.' I already knew it was too late.

I got into the bathroom and splashed water on my face.

'Get a grip Katie it's one song'

'Right one song won't hurt'

'Besides when did some guys ever stop you from doing anything?!'

' NEVER EVER!'

Wow since when did I talk to myself??

I let out a chuckle.
I stared at myself in the mirror. My brown hair is up in a bun some of the hair by my ear is sticking out. I pulled a little more out so it looked good. Better
My green eyes staring back at me the look full of excitement. Im Ready.
I walked out of the bathroom but ran into something.... I rubbed my head or was it someone? I looked up to see Brett.
"Sorry. I was going to say good luck but then you weren't at your table. So I was barely going to go again." he whispered the last part.

"Well thanks... do you know when we go up?" I asked

"Ya you go up in like a minute. You might want to go or else your friend is going to be worried." He said with a toothy smile.
"Ya bye wish me luck." I said giving him another smile.

"Good luck!" He yelled back and it turned around he winked at me for what felt like the billionth time today. But this time I didn't even blush I just winked back.

I didn't even notice I walked past Christians table.

"Hey guys sorry for coming late."

"Katie I was do worried Brett came to say good luck but you weren't here." Mercedes said. So Brett was right she is worried I thought.

"I know he told me already." I told her

She was going to say something but got cut off.
"Next up we have Katie Sorenson and Mercedes Greene singing ' Like I'm gonna lose you' give it up to Katie and Mercedes!!" The announcer yelled.

I looked at Christians table and saw that they were getting up to leave but once they heard our names and saw us getting up they all sat back down.
Absolutely great note the sarcasm
Well here goes nothing.
There is no going back now.
