(Katie's POV)
Going up to the stage I made sure they had the right song. Which they did. I signaled for them to start the music and looked over at Mercedes and gave her a big smile before starting.

(Christians POV!!!!!)
When we got to the diner or restraint whatever this place is we went to a booth. I don't know what this place is I just came because people day it nice here. So here I am now. I expected in to be crappy but it is actually nice.
There food is amazing, there's entertainment. what else do we need?
As we were eating I saw a familiar face. It was that one girl from my gym class.
She got up from her seat, and looked
liked she just killed someone and she needs a place to hide it.
She passed our table and did the manliest thing to do and winked at her.
" Man who is she?" Asked Vincent said lookin' at her butt.
" I don't know. But she is in one of my classes always paying attention. probably a Nerd." Daniel said
" A hot one." Vincent said with a whistle, which made all of us chuckle.
Then it clicked she's the one in my gym class. That finished first out of all the girls. and I congratulated her she said her name was Katie and I asked if she kissed as fast as she ran and left her blushing.
"I got it!" I burst out.
"What the fuck man you scared the shit out of me." Tyler said. Touching where his heart is chuckling
"Ohh... I figured out today that her name is Katie in gym when she finished first out of the girls in the race thing we had."
" Damn, I'd tap that any day." Vincent said. Of course .
For the past five minutes we talked and watched people perform.
I saw the waiter 'Brett' go to the table that Katie was sitting at.
Probably trying to flirt with the other three girls there.
He left after a couple of minutes.
I heard talking and turned around to see Katie talking to that douche- wait .....no meant Brett. she was laughing. She said something to him and turned around and he winked at her. She winked back????
She didn't even glance at our table just walked past like that. Weird.
"Dude did you see how that guy tried flirting with her" Daniel
"Ya.. are you guys ready to go?" Asked Tyler.
"Yep, lets go!" We all got up
"Next up we have Katie Sorenson and Mercedes Greene singing ' Like I'm gonna lose you' give it up to Katie and Mercedes!!" The announcer said.
The guys looked at each other.
"This should be good lets stay for this last one."
We all sat back down. I was still processing that she is going to start singing. Wow smart, fast runner, and a singer. hopefully she's good that would be the whole package.
We waited for them to start as they were talking to the person running it and walked to her friend and flashed her a smile and started singing........
