A steady and harmonious hum filtered through the tense air of the lavish penthouse. Daniel, entranced by the sound also noticed the spark of realization filtering over Louis face, melting the the scowl right off of it. Armand on the other hand held an expression of tense anguish. "Long time no see Louis." Her familiar southern drawl drifted to Louis ears. It was slightly altered, a mixture of a few other varying tones. And yet it's familiarity echoed within the chambers of his mind. Her heels clicked rhythmically against the polished floors her steps fluid and poised as she came to a stop in front of the trio.

"Leona... Its been a very long time." Louis spoke slowly, sparks of his past resurfacing within his mind. She was just as beautiful as the day he last saw her. Seemingly well adapted to the modern times. Tan tailored pants hugging her hips in the right places as they flared at the ankles making her seem more lean and statuesque. A cream colored blouse flowed effortlessly with her movements. Gold accessories complementing her dark melanin. Armand made his presence known suddenly standing next to Louis, his eyes trained on the violet eyed vampire. "Armand." She said in greeting, her tone detached as she looked him up and down. The tension suddenly rising between the two as Daniel cleared his throat, reminding the immortals of his presence.

"Oh, I wasn't aware you'd have any guest." The human said looking to the woman. His heart beat rising as she suddenly looked at him, her gaze surprisingly warm. "I caught wind of your research team digging up Louis past and figured I bring the unspoken to light." A slight pause filled the air before Louis spoke. "Daniel Malloy this is Leona Scott..shes.... an old friend.." Louis words trailed off his eyes never leaving the female vampire. His words now lost with in the room that her presence took over with little effort.

"Leona....you wouldn't have happen to also go by the name Leo would you?" The old journalist asked out of curiosity. "Once upon a time yes...but that was a long time ago." She said with a brief but sadden smile. "Yes.. I vaguely remember coming across your name a few times in Claudia's journal, but Louis hasn't mentioned you. Not once." The vampire kept a polite smile as she craned her head while looking at Louis and Armand. "How rude of him. My dear Louis has always had a very complicated relationship with the truth." A small tsk escaped her glossed lips as she took a seat on the couch.

"I am glad I'm not the only one to admit that." The old man mumbled under his breath as he sat in an armed chair. A concerned look on Louis face, while Armand glared daggers into the side of her head. "What is the reason for your unannounced visit?" Armand spat in her direction. The older vampire seemed nerved at her presence. "The whole truth." She said pointedly.

Daniel propped his glasses on the edge of his nose as he cleared a page and prepared his pen.  Daniel looked up at Leona briefly then to the Louis. "Perhaps you can fill in some of the gaps. I can assume those two know each other?" He asked her, wary looking to the between Armands sulking form and Leonas seemingly unbothered body language. "Yes , indeed. We do have history, but we shall get to that later."  Leona smiled kindly at Daniel before dropping the polite smile when addressing Armand. "Rashid is it? Would you be a dear and attend to my bags. I know Louis is more than excited to reconnect and reminisce."

Leonas usual pleasant tone was snarky and dismissive her smile dropping anytime she looked at the ancient vampire. Armand narrowed his gaze at Leona but said nothing taking her order begrudgingly as Louis calmed his heart. "A vampire with manners. I can trust you wont lose your temper and choke me to death." Daniel said as he opened his computer and typed. She looked to Louis. The look of shame on his face. "I assure you Mr. Molloy... you are safe in my presence. Louis has always had a temper... even as a human." Her violet eyes held Louis in place as she adjusted her posture.

"So you knew him when he was human?" Daniel asked as he hit record. "More than he knew his self at times. We where best friends."
