Central Calendar 1639, Month 11, Day 9. Fenn Kingdom
The first rays of the sun began to peek over the horizon, casting a gentle, golden light across the landscape of the Fenn Kingdom. Standing tall and proud, the sun's embrace gradually illuminated the ancient temples and pagodas, their intricate carvings and vibrant colours coming to life.
A gentle breeze rustled through the trees, causing the leaves to dance and fall like snowflakes, creating a serene and almost magical atmosphere. The sound of a distant waterfall mingled with the chirping of early morning birds, creating a harmonious symphony that echoed through the quiet streets of the Fenn Kingdom.
On that peaceful morning, everyone went about their activities. Tourists and holidaymakers, at present, almost 300 in Nishinomiyako and 1100 in Amanoki, from the five nations enjoyed the scenery, while local men and women did their jobs. Some were having breakfast, children were waking up, and several Fennese were already undergoing swordsmanship training.
Their daily routine goes on like normal days but not for the people living in Nishinomiyako as they are on high alert due to the possibility of a declaration of war and attack from the Parpaldia Empire. Taking precautionary steps, about 2000 warriors consisting of the Fennese and the Gaharan were stationed there for that eventuality.
At the same time, a watchtower was built on a small, uninhabited island about three kilometres west of Nishinomiyako, serving as a forward operation lookout for two warriors who were permanently stationed there.
These two are also equipped with a set of manacom that directly link with the riders of the Gaharan Wind Dragons on patrol above the skies of the Western seas and the Fennese-Gaharan joint forces stationed not far from Nishinomiyako.

Central Calendar 1639, Month 11, Day 28. Skies of the Western Seas, 10 kilometres off the coast of Nishinomiyako, Fenn Kingdom
Soaring high above the cloud cover across the vast space of the crystal-clear waters of the Western seas, a Gaharan Wind Dragon's head slides into view. Its serpentine neck follows, revealing its rider and, soon after, the rest of its kind. Each dragon carries a rider, all focused intently on their patrolling duty.
"</Keep your eyes sharp, folks! We're entering the most treacherous part of our patrol!\>" Captain Eki barked through the manacom, her voice carrying effortlessly over the rush of wind that whipped through her short-cropped hair as she adjusted her grip on her dragon's reins. She could feel the tension in the air, a shared sense of duty and anticipation.
Her Wind Dragon partner, Tharos, released a low rumble of agreement as his emerald eyes scanned the horizon. The patrol formation tightened as the riders adjusted their positions, each scanning their designated sectors for any signs of trouble.
Below, the waters sparkled with deceptive tranquillity, their depths concealing the ever-present dangers of the seas. The dragons' keen senses were on high alert, their riders' hands steady on the reins, ready to react immediately.
A few dragons down the line, Lieutenant Kaden nodded, his sharp eyes already darting across the landscape below.
"</Aye, Captain. No sign of trouble yet, but these waters and clouds have a way of hiding secrets\>"
As they flew in silence, the rhythmic beating of dragon wings the only sound, the riders' thoughts were filled with tales of past encounters with marauding pirates and sea monsters. Each rider knew the importance of their mission - keeping the Western seas safe for the coastal villages of the Nishinomiyako that depended on their vigilance against the possible attack from the Parpaldia Empire's Imperial Forces.
