**TINA **DID I JUST?!
I pinched my cheeks to check if I'm awake. Yup, I was awake and I definitely was not dreaming. Did I just really kissed gibson?
I was still staring at the vending machine, trying to grasp what just happened back there in the arena. Gibson was on top of me. We were so close that I felt his body heat all over me. He tried to kiss me but then I sneezed.
Shit, that was close.
But why was I sad to not be kissed by him? I looked at my engagement ring and remembered Ike, I sure do miss him. I pressed my head on the cool metal of the machine and shut my eyes close.
I kissed Gibson.
I could still feel my lips over Gibson's skin. It was an electrifying kiss and it wasn't on his mouth yet. I did remember the incident on the park, when I waited for his lips. I groan, damn that sure was embarrassing. Then I felt a pang of guilt for Ike.
I know I'm engaged but that was just a friendly kiss on the cheeks. I didn't know what got into me. I was disturbed by the beeping sound coming from the machine. I grabbed the two hot chocos and made my way to the front desk where Gibson was waiting for me.
He was leaning on the wall, deep in his own thoughts. I was still walking towards him when he raised his head and smiled at me. I flushed when his eyes met mine. I mentally kicked myself, really Bettina? I handed him his cup which he gladly took.
"Ahhchuu." Damn nose.
"You okay?" His tone was worried.
"I'm perfect - AHHCHUU!" I pinched the bridge of my nose.
"Here, let me help you." Gibson reached over his pocket and retrieved a hanky which he handed to me. Wow, his hanky smelled like heaven. I try to offer his hanky back but he refused and wanted me to keep it.
I took a sip of my drink. "Thank you but you don't have to, you know." I offered him a shy smile.
"That's the least I could do for the hot chocolate." He shrugged.
And there was that dreaded awkward silence again. I did notice the change of air between us. Was it about the park incident? The arena? Or the bench kiss? I didn't bother with my thoughts and continued drinking my hot choco.
"Wanna grab dinner? So you could rest after." He offered as he sipped his drink.
"Sounds great, since I'm famished to the core." I finished my cup. We head outside and I stopped in front of the car.
"What's the matter?" Gibson arched a brow at me.
"AHHCHUU!" Damn it nose.
"That was cute." He was smiling at me.
"Give me my car keys, I would like to drive please." I opened my palm at him.
"Yeah, like I would allow a chick to drive me around." He murmured.
"Oh I see... now let me remind you who drove you to oblivion because you got caught banging a woman's womb canal?!" I placed my hand on my hip and tapped my feet.
"Fair point made blondie, okay I call shotgun then." He tossed the keys at me.
I caught it perfectly. "Thank - CHUUU!" Oh my shitty nose.
After settling inside, I slipped the key in and the engine roared to life. I started to reverse the wheel and made my way out of the stadium.
"So, where are we eating?" I asked casually.
