'Please don't make me go through this again'

-Our Deepest Fears-

"Why can't we go together?" Taehyung asks angrily, looking between both generals as they sit in the cafeteria.

Jungkook practically breaks the spoon in his hand as the blue haired boy asks the same question for the fifth time, stubbornly refusing to eat his food as Jimin only quietly nibbles on some grapes.

"For the last time Mr. Kim, we have to split the groups in half because of supply. Jimin will go today, you will go tomorrow." Jungkook grits out, practically daring the boy to ask again when Taehyung glares at him.

"What supply?" The boy immediately asks, and Jungkook only ignores the question, taking a bite of his eggs as if he couldn't be bothered.

Jin answers before Taehyung can ask again.

"That's classified information." He says, smirking when Taehyung only scoffs in response. The boy glances at Jimin only to see his best friend playing with his fingers, a habit he'd picked up when he got nervous as a boy.

Before he can ask, Jungkook beats him to it. "What's got you so quiet Sunshine?" The man says, casually taking a sip of his milk, and yet holding a whisper of worry in his eyes as he glances at the blonde. Jimin's eyes snap up, only to look back down and immediately stop fidgeting as he pops another grape in his mouth.

"It's nothing.." The boy hesitates, pushing food around his plate when they all look at him unconvinced.

"Your absolutely painful to watch lying." Jin says blankly, making Taehyung kick his leg and Jimin look up with a blush.

After a moment of eyes on him, the boy finally gives in. "I-It's just that I don't understand why I have to go first." The boy says guiltily, obvious fear in his voice as he looks around.

His eyes subconsciously settle on Jungkook, the general once again looking troubled as he takes in the boys words. It hadn't been his choice. Agent Sandars had told him who would go first with no room for argument.

But oh did Jungkook argue.

However, in the end it was fruitless. Jungkook was currently on dangerous grounds with Sanders because of what Nina had done, and therefore couldn't afford to cause trouble with Jimin for a while.

He couldn't let the agent think he was favoring someone..

So because of Nina, and how much of a royal pain in the ass she was being for Jungkook right now, the general had to sit hear, eating dinner with Jimin, all while preparing himself for what he'd have to make the boy do in less than an hour.

Because of her Jungkook would have to make Jimin do something he knew the boy couldn't handle, only a day after he'd lost one of the most important things to him.

Jungkook couldn't wait for the day he'd make her burn..

"It was by random Jimin. They picked a handful of people from every group to go today, and the rest will go tomorrow." The raven says, and Jimin only looks down at that, softly nodding his head as Taehyung slowly rubs his back.

The elder had been worried sick for the boy ever since yesterday, knowing full well how hard Jimin must be taking it. He'd be lying if he said he also hadn't noticed how nervous the blonde had been today, barely eating a full plate of food ever since he woke up.

The nerves we're getting to him, but not as much as the sadness.

Taehyung also couldn't help but see how much Jungkook comforted him, taking in the way the General would grab his best friends hand under the table every time he saw no one was looking. Keeping distance, and yet comforting him in any way he could.
