Dusted Away (recontinued)

Chapter 2

Dustin, following Toriel, finds himself in an unknown area. There is a small patch of grass in front of him, with a yellow flower on it, and Toriel is nowhere to be found. Dustin walks up to the flower, only for it to turn around and face him. "Howdy! I'm Flowey! Flowey the Flower!" Dustin wonders how this flower is talking, but doesn't bother to question it. "Hey! I'm Dustin. You wouldn't happen to know where I am, would you?" Flowey just sat there before replying with "Hmm.. You're new to the underground, aren'tcha? Golly, you must be so confused. Somebody ought to teach you how things work around here! Guess little old me will have to do! Ready? Here we go!" From what Dustin could tell, Flowey seemed like a nice guy... but he had a feeling that would change very soon. Flowey did something, and a white box with a little red heart appeared in front of him. "See that heart?" Flowey asked. "That is your SOUL, the very culmination of your being! Your SOUL starts off weak, but can grow strong if you give it a lot of LV!" Soul, LV? What did any of this mean? So he asked Flowey. "What's LV?" Flowey replied with "Why, LOVE of course! You want some LOVE, don't you? Here, I'll share some with you! Down here, LOVE is shared through... little white.... "friendliness pellets". Dustin started to learn how this movement system worked. Wherever he moved, the SOUL moved. "Get as many as you can!" Flowey exclaimed as he prepared to fire the "friendliness pellets". Then, Dustin noticed he had 4 buttons and some info below the box. The 4 buttons were titled: FIGHT, ACT, ITEM, and MERCY respectively. He noticed the info was what he suspected was his... health??? And his LV. Just then, Flowey shot the friendliness pellets.
