Toriel stood up from her chair, placed her book down on the desk beside her, and hurried downstairs. Dustin, being curious, followed her downstairs. He came up to her, and she was standing in front of a door, with the same crest as the one on her robe. "I'm going to destroy the exit to the ruins." He was confused, but asked anyway. "Why?" He noticed she had predetermined her response on the way here. "Because you'll die. He... ASGORE... will kill you. So, if you wish to leave the ruins, prove to me you're strong enough to survive." Dustin didn't know what this meant, but then he remembered something. In the middle of the night, he had left the home, going back through the ruins, and killed every monster that lie within, every single room of the ruins, now empty. He hadn't wanted to, but he felt like something was "controlling him". Then, it struck him. The voices. The voices were manipulating him. But he had no time to keep wondering, because fireballs were flying at him, and he noticed the box was back. His LV was now 3. He felt stronger. He dodged the fireballs flying at him gracefully and swung a knife he presumed he had picked up in the middle of the night. It was at this moment that he heard the voices again. Before they manipulated him again, he was going to use the knife only to block the incoming fire, but he had been controlled again, and the knife slashed straight through Toriel's chest, before she turned into dust. He regained consciousness, and looked down at the pile of dust, and saw his LV was now 4. Did killing monsters raise his LOVE? What did LOVE stand for? He could only wonder...
