Chapter 5

Dustin now stood in front of the door, and he prepared to open it. He slowly creaked open the old door, and the snow instantly flooded into the room. He trekked his way across the snow, and every time he encountered a monster, the voices would make him murder it. His LOVE slowly raised as he walked until he reached a bridge with a very open barricade. He then realized that somebody had been following him. "Human... Don't you know how to greet a new pal?" The figure asked. Dustin slowly turned around to see the figure, until he realized he had his hood up, and his face was covered by shadow. "Shake my hand." The figure said, reaching his bony hand out to Dustin. Dustin shook his hand, and he heard a fart sound, like a whoopee cushion. The figure lowered his hood, showing his bony, skeletal face. "Ah, the old whoopee cushion in the hand trick. Always works. Heh." Dustin just stared at the figure, confused as to who he was. "How's it going kid? I'm Sans, and I am the master of jokes. My brother Papyrus doesn't agree though." Sans...Papyrus... they're names are fonts??? Now he was even more confused. "Hello... Sans. You're a skeleton, right?" Sans answered quite quickly "Yeah, and I have a skele-TON of puns in store for you." Dustin laughed but then, in the distance, he heard a scream. "SAAAAAAAAAAAANNNSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!" The person yelled, as Dustin saw a tall, lanky figure approaching. "Gotta go." Sans said, as he vanished into thin air. The tall, lanky figure, who he guessed was Papyrus, ran up to him. "You. I have a question for you." Dustin awaited said question. "Are you a human?" He sat there, thinking that it should have been obvious, but he decided to not be rude, and answer. "Yes. Yes I am." Papyrus' eyes lit up with excitement. "Yes! Haha. Beware Human! For I, The GREAT Papyrus, will CAPTURE you. And then Undyne will let me into the Royal Guard!" Papyrus had exclaimed, clearly overjoyed by the idea of capturing a human. Dustin wasn't sure who Undyne was, but he just carried on his way and walked right by Papyrus. "HEY! GET BACK HERE! I DIDN'T FINISH EXPLAINING MY PLAN YET!" Dustin stopped as Papyrus ran up in front of him. "Aha! Try getting by THIS puzzle!" He ran up ahead and Dustin followed, where there was a small area of snow that had been stamped down.
