I was by no means a heavy sleeper, I used to think the smallest of noise could wake me up. But three very loud bands and the shout of my name is what fired me up from my sleep, eyes jumping open to the ceiling of my room.

"(Y/N)!" The voice I've become familiar with sent me into a full stage of panic.

I shot upright on the bed like they do in the movies, my portfolio laid sprawled out onto my bed all around me and the static from the tv was still on. I look at the clock that reads 5:10am.

I run to the door and open it up, my hands shaking. I met eyes with Ares standing there with her braids wrapped up into a messy bun, a pink drink in her left hand and the clipboard in the other, and a look of purge rage on her face.

"Did you die in your sleep and let your phone die along with you!"

"I'm so sorry I–I could've sworn I had my phone plugged in. I'll be ready in five minutes." I said in maximum stress, lightheaded from jumping to my feet so fast and having no hydration in my body since last night.

"Everyone is waiting for you, we need to get on the bus. We have a change of plans for the schedule." She shouts again, my heart racing.

I prayed no one came into the apartment last night to sleep or else they would hear my scolding.

"Okay, yes! I'm sorry!" I quickly shut the door in her face before gasping, opening it back up to her dramatically shutting her eyes before opening them back up and turning on a heel to head out the front door,

I shut the door once more and sprint around the room to collect the items I'll need, scooping the portfolio into the large bag it's designed to be carried in. I rushed into the bathroom to start brushing my teeth and washing my face. If there is one thing about me, I refuse to go anywhere without doing these two tasks. I toss on deodorant and grab my pink crop top that has cherries on the chest, throw my pyjama shorts off to replace them with fitted sweatpants and my Nike dunks. I didn't finish Hobie's outfit that would be needed and I only prayed that wherever we were going for a sudden change could give me some time to whip up something fast.

During all of this, toothpaste was nearly foaming out of my mouth and I only had a split second reaction time to rush back to the bathroom to spit it out real quick. I continued to brush while smoothing out my hair and then wrapping it up in a loose ponytail. I was glad Sydni told me to pack an emergency bag for situations like this. The one time her obsessive nature of watching romance movies paid off.

I wanted to blame myself, not liking how my first morning was going, but then I remembered I didn't even get told a time to be up.

I finish collecting all of my things with one hand, running back to the sink to spit out the remaining bit of toothpaste again. I quickly rinse my mouth out and tap my toothbrush on the side of the sink to get rid of the wetness before tossing it into my beauty bag.
