Lets say for this au everyone is just a lil bit older, not to much older though, only about 15, 16 being the oldest. If you wish you can imagine them as the same age in the show, there won't be any nsfw, so we're all good! ^^

Amity pov.

I sat in my seat in Abomination class, nothing being out of order. The bell screeched, and abomination thugs grunt as they walk down the halls dragging their masters books for them. I wish someone new would show up.

Mr. Hermonculus came in, carried by his pink dust colored abomination as usual.

"Everyone, there is a field trip this Wednesday. It's to the woodland areas in the hip." The small professor said.

My ears perked and I readjusted my attention to him. A field trip? This is great, I mean I doubt Odalia would say no. I hope she won't anyway.

Maybe this could be interesting?

After another hour in abomination studies, the bell beast screeched. But as I stood to leave, a small boy walked down the aisle of desks dropping blue pamphlets on everyones desks.

"Join the human appreciation society!" The boy exclaimed.

The baby blue in his uniform indicates he was from the illusion track.

"Human appreciation society?" I murmured to myself.

The boy continued to drop his propaganda everywhere, he even made some explode all over the room with illusion magic.

Mr. Hermonculus cleared his throat and crossed his arms. The boy chuckled nervously.

"Mr. Porter, who sanctioned this?" Hermonculus contemplated.

"Uhh, does, me count?" The boy asked.

I think I've heard of him before, he's supposed to be a natural at illusions, I wanna say his name is Augustus.

Mr. Hermonculus then grumbled in his throat and Augustus looked like he was ready to bolt.

"Just think about it everyone!" August yelled before making a mad dash.

After that, sad, display I picked up one of his flyers. It read-

The Human Appreciation society

Join if your as curious as us!

Humans are so cool.

Real artifacts? ...maybe!

Join fellow human appreciators!!!

I found this simply odd, I don't get why people would want to obsess over humans. They don't have magic, theyr ears are, round... and their candy is awful. Regardless of all these reasons I figured this might come in handy one day, so I stuffed it in my pouch and entered the hall.

Sense abominations was my final class of the day, I decided to take the long way home. I wasn't particularly excited to hear my father's feeble attempts at asking me about my day and Odalia's pestering and nagging about reputations. Neither of which interests me.

As I walked through the cool Spring air, I couldn't help but wonder if there would ever be anything more, it's stupid really, but who can blame me for hoping.

When I reached the mansion I of course entered hesitantly. Luckily I was able to slip up stairs with no one noticing, Odalia was busy with the twins, and i could hear father tinkering in his basement lab.

I shed my school uniform and slipped into something more comfortable. I plopped on the bed and picked up my crystal ball, I was aiming to watch Azura, but there was some kind of announcement.

"This just in, an unknown creature was spotted near the woods in the hip, it was said to have a long dark mane, and to be on all fours, and wrapped in torn cloths."
The news lady declared.

This caught my attention, though such beasts weren't rare, I see a pack of wolf moles on my way to school on a daily basis. Though, it having makeshift clothes was kind of odd.

"The emperor says he will catch it, for our protection. Who knows what this new figure could present to our humble community. Terror, or maybe even enlightenment? More on this story later today, back to you Jarnathon." The lady continued.

As the cliffhanger was introduced, I sat my crystal ball aside and dug something out of my pouch.

I equipped the pamphlet Augustus threw everywhere. I examined it curiously and opened it to see a diagram of a basic blank human. Then to the right a photo of a supposed human sighting. It was nothing more than a dark blurred figure running into a forest. Though it did have large noticeable eyes.

"Hm... maybe..." I hummed.
