"Patricia?" Barbie lookes at Zee, "its only temporary.. think of it as a punishment.. until you can understand how important this is.. okay?" Zoe said

Barbie huffed before saying as nicely as possible "okay, whatever" thats whatever was definitely whispered

Barbie just turned around and left the office,
I don't even want to be here right now

Barbie thought as she groaned. Then she decided to check her phone..
Ken texted me?
Thats weird.. I mean yeah she may have gave him her number, but she never expected them to actually talk

The message was sent less than fifteen minutes ago
It was nothing too crazy it was just a simple

Hey! U busy today?

Barbie knew it was probably wrong to be texting him.. but as a grown adult she can legally text him back

Nope.. just getting back from work..
She texted back

Same.. hey crazy question.. do you want to maybe hang out?.. today? Im kinda bored an would love to talk with someone.
At this point barbie was outside sitting in her car
She looked up as she saw Patricia walking up to her car

Sure, just let me know when 😉
She texted before she quickly turned her phone off and unlocked her door before Patricia got into the passenger seat

"You okay?" She asked the blonde that was sitting across from her "yeah.. I do understand what Zoe is saying and why all of this is happening... but I'm a little disappointed still.."

Barbie said aa she grabbed her water from the cup holder
"Yeah, that was a little harsh, but-"Patricia started before getting cut off

"Honestly, I'm fine...
if a child were to do something wrong the parent may take away a privilege of even something of their's.. I did something wrong..

Okay, it wasn't wrong but I wasn't told to do it either so it wasn't very right.. but anyway I have to just accept the consequences of my actions." She told the colorful haired girl

Who nodded in agreement to what she said "when you put it like that.. I guess it makes since"

"So, enjoy your time being leader.. because when I return I will be bigger and better than ever" barbie joked causing both girls to laugh

"Honestly I can't wait, then I can start teasing you again.. being leader means more work.. and I hate more weights on my shoulders" she rolled her eyes

Barbie put her hand on Patricia's shoulder "you'll be a great leader" she smiled at her to which Patricia patted the hand on her shoulder "thanks" she also smiled before opening the car door

"Welp, I'll see ya later blonde" she said before closing the car door
Barbie smiled once more and waved at her before she watched her and made sure Patricia got into the building safely. Then she picked up her phone again

Ken asked if today they could meet at the beach
Barbie agreed and drove home to change

(Barbie's pov)

As I pulled up I saw Ken sitting on the sand so I walked up to him.. "ken?" I asked before seeing an older man turn around "uh, what?"

I quickly felt my cheeks burning, probably from embarrassment
"Oops, sorry I was looking for some body else" I said to the man

Who nodded his head before he went back to watching ken surf again...

Wait

I looked over at the ocean once more and sure enough
Ken really was surfing.. and he was doing a great job at it too

I walked up to the ocean and as I saw him returning to the surface I started to clap and he began to smile

"That was awesome!" I told him "ha, thanks.."
He said probably embarrassed
as he grabbed his surf board and we began walking

We were sitting in a nice area, not too far from every one but definitely more private. About thirty minutes later we decided to go surfing

"Like this?" I asked as ken helped me "yep, you got it.. just.. well" he started before he grabbed at my waist and shifted my body a little.. I could feel my heart pounding in my chest and butterflies were fluttering in my stomach

"Alright, thats much better!" He said as he smiled
Then a wave was starting to rise

"Here it comes! You got this" he winked
I nodded before I began to pattle and then like a pro I was able to ride the wave like a freaking pro

Ken used his board to pattle up to me
"Nice job! You were basically a pro!" Ken said as he put his hand up for a high five.
I smiled before returning the gesture

"Thank you!" I said

Then we swam back up to shore
I looked over to mh right and saw renee

Oh no! If she sees me here with him, that would be a problem
I tapped ken's shoulder before pointing at renee

He got the message because he grabbed my hand and we ran over by some shrubbery to hide.
Once we were hidden we both couldn't help but laugh at the fact that we were almost caught

"If we ever decide to do this again.. I suggest we find some place that's not very public" I told him

"Yeah, I agree"
Wait.. I suggested that we do this again.. would that be another problem.. I really hope not.
