Late in the afternoon, as the sun dipped towards the horizon, a determined Elysian stood in the open field of their farm, wooden sword in hand. His mentor and guardian, Sirius, watched closely, his experienced eyes assessing the young boy's every move.

"Swinging harder does not make it a powerful attack, my son," Sirius advised, his voice firm but gentle. He parried Elysian's attacks easily, demonstrating the wisdom gained from years of training. "Power and precision, that is the key," Sirius added, emphasizing the importance of technique over brute force.

Elysian's frustration was evident as he swung his wooden sword increasingly. Each strike was met with Sirius's graceful defense, a testament to the mentor's skill. Despite his irritation, Elysian listened intently, realizing there was more to mastering the art of the sword than sheer strength.

In the fading light of the afternoon, the field became a battleground for this crucial lesson. Elysian's determination and Sirius's patient guidance blended in a timeless dance of mentorship, where the young prince learned that true power came from physical prowess and the mastery of technique and precision.

With a single, swift strike, Sirius easily disarmed Elysian, clattering the 15-year-old boy's wooden sword to the ground. Frustration welled up within Elysian, and he exclaimed, "I tried hard, Father! You're too strong to beat!"

Sirius, his mentor and guardian, looked down at Elysian with a patient and knowing gaze. He understood the young boy's frustration but also recognized the importance of this lesson. "Now, patience, child," Sirius counseled, calm and reassuring. "Being a good swordsman does not come overnight. It comes from a deep understanding of what you are doing."

Before their exchange could continue, a call from the nearby house interrupted their training. Lyria, Elysian's caregiver and a figure of warmth and comfort called out, "Dinner is ready!"

Sirius smiled at Elysian, his expression kind and filled with wisdom. "Now," he said, "it would sadden your mother if you don't smile. Run along, I'll follow you."

As Elysian entered the house, still feeling a bit crestfallen from his earlier training session, Lyria noticed his expression with her warm and comforting presence. She asked gently, "Why the sad face, dear? You lost, didn't you?" Her words were accompanied by a playful smile, attempting to lighten the mood.

Sirius, joining in the playful banter, chimed in, "You know he's a sore loser," with a teasing grin. The three shared a light-hearted moment, their laughter filling the room.

With the joviality of the moment, they settled in for dinner. Lyria had prepared a sumptuous meal, a testament to her culinary skill and love for Elysian. The delicious aroma filled the air, and Elysian couldn't help but feel his spirits lifting. He savored every bite of his mother's well-cooked food, finding solace and comfort in the shared warmth of their home.

Though an orphan, Elysian never felt lonely because of Sirius and Lylia; the couple could not bear a child and thus loved Elysian like their own. To ensure the child's safety, the couple resided far away from the capitol - Elder Tree Haven. Misthaven has been their home after the death of the High King and Queen. The couple both train Elysian swordsmanship and magic.

Elysian, at a young age, shows great promise. He was a good swordsman and a wizard. At a young age, he has mastered both fire and air elements. He is also a quick learner of swords. At the age of 10, he joined his father hunting during hunting season; his gift for knives and swords has made him a great help to the village.

"Father, are you going to Elder Tree tomorrow?" the young boy inquired, his eyes bright with curiosity.

Sirius couldn't hide his excitement as he replied, "Oh yes, my son, I must go to sell the harvest tomorrow, and who knows, I might buy you a new sword!"
