Endeavor is furious as he storms through his agency, his mind riddled with thoughts of his boyfriend. Said boyfriend, number two hero Hawks, has only been dating him for a month. So, really, Hawks doesn't owe him much, but after two days of the dirty-blond not responding to any of his texts, calls, or emails, he can't help how upset he is upon finding out the exact reason he's been being ignored.

The agency is almost entirely dark except for one room, an office that Endeavor set aside specifically for Hawks to come and work in when he visited to help the older man with their team-ups or issues regarding Toya and the Paranormal Liberation Front. Endeavor sees the light that pours out into the hallway from underneath the closed door and feels his blood pressure sky-rocket. When he knocks on the door, he received no answer, so he uses his master key to unlock it, then swings it open.

"Hawks, what the hell are you still doing here?" He demands, walking into the office with crossed arms.

"Oh, Endeavor!" Hawks excitedly greets with that big, fake grin he gives fans. It doesn't work on Endeavor, who sees right through it. The younger hero looks like shit; he's shaky, he reeks of coffee and a bit of alcohol, his hair is greasy, and there's huge, purple bags underneath his eyes. Compared to the relaxed, radiant man that Endeavor has fallen in love with, this Hawks looks like something straight out of a nightmare as he pays attention to whatever it is he's typing on his laptop. "Don't mind me, I'm just working on something before wrapping up and heading home."

"Bullshit. The only reason I knew you were here at all is because I checked the security feeds- you stopped responding to my texts yesterday and it had me concerned you'd been attacked or kidnapped by Shigaraki, but no, you haven't left this building in two days, and you haven't slept at all! Are you trying to kill yourself?"

"Not necessarily, no."

"How can you be so blasé about this? You have bags under your eyes, and...!" Endeavor's eyes widen when he sees the can of coffee on Hawks's desk. He recognizes it; it's an alcoholic brand that he's seen at gas stations. Just to be sure, he approaches Hawks, picks up the drink, and stares at it. "Does this have alcohol in it?"

"Well, yeah. I need something to keep me going, don't I, number one?" Hawks says with a forced laugh. Endeavor narrows his eyes, seeing right through the act. Something is clearly wrong. "You know how it is; I'm on that grind!"

"Well, that grind is going to get you nowhere if you don't take care of yourself!" Endeavor angrily exclaims, making quotation marks with his fingers when he says the word 'grind'. What a ridiculous way to explain overworking yourself... He stares at the label of the coffee can in his hand and looks for the nutritional information on the back. He reads it over with his sharp blue eyes, then does a double take and reads it again upon seeing just how much alcohol and caffeine is in it. To his utter horror, there's two more crushed, empty cans of the same drink sitting on the desk Hawks is currently working at. "These drinks have a seven percent alcohol content and two hundred milligrams of caffeine a piece, and you've had three of them! There's no way that's healthy- you're still recovering from the raid!"

"Eh, who cares?" Hawks shrugs. He continues typing, almost as if he's trying to make Endeavor go away. The thought agitates the number one hero, who feels his left eye twitch. "I'm still awake, aren't I?"

"Hawks, it isn't okay for you to do this to yourself. Not as your superior, but as your partner , I am incredibly concerned," Endeavor sighs, throws the can away, and reaches over Hawks to shut off the laptop. At that, Hawks spins around in his stupid spinny computer chair to face him. "I hate to do this, but I forbid you from working any longer tonight. Go home now, and don't bother coming back until you're rested."
