V | Welcome To My Dark Side
Yakutsk, Siberia

Jin limped quietly as he tried to walk his ass downstairs to the kitchen, hissing at every step as the deep wound on his left side still hurt with his every move. When he successfully reached the kitchen without stumbling or tripping on his feet, he went straight for the fridge and opened it, taking out a bottle of chilled champagne. He closed the fridge and put the expensive bottle down on the marbled island countertop. He began to rummage for a champagne glass in the cupboards -- which were thankfully just within his reach or else he would have no choice but to call out for help. He grabbed the corkscrew laying on top of the counter and expertly opened the champagne bottle with a gentle pop.

He poured himself a glass, sipped half of it, all the while looking out through the kitchen windows. He was hoping the champagne could help him calm his nerves the same way absinthe could calm a vampire's nerves. Ever since the other night's surprise attack wherein he was badly hurt, Jin had been fidgety and on high alert. It seemed to him that someone had been targeting them -- and the reason -- he could only guess. He touched the wound caused by a sickle underneath his shirt, and he had to bite back a wince as it was still sore and inflamed. The cuts and bruises on his neck and shoulders were nothing compared to this. He thought the weapon that was used against him could rip off souls from anyone it impaled. Vampires, although immortals, could also die if their souls had been taken from them.

Jin frowned when he realized how quiet his home had become. He had just woken up from a deep sleep about thirty minutes ago as he was still recuperating from using excess energy during and after the attack. Just when he was about to decide to call someone using his smart phone, he sensed a very familiar scent coming through the front door. A few seconds later, the said person entered the kitchen with an ice box in his hand, his eyes squinting in displeasure as he looked between Jin and the half-empty bottle of champagne.

"Your Grace," Namjoon greeted him, bowing down. "I'm happy that you're well enough to walk on your own and help yourself with a bottle of champagne while we, on the other hand, were looking and driving around town to find you packs of animal blood."

Jin ignored the sarcastic jab. "Lion's blood?"

His sentry scoffed. "Unfortunately, there are no white lions this season, Your Grace. But we got you reindeer's blood."

"You killed Rudolph?!"

Namjoon rolled his eyes at his lame joke. "I don't know. Maybe it was Dasher or Dancer or Prancer or Vixen or Comet or Cupid or Donner or Blitzen."

"You're mean," he huffed at the big guy, pouting. "You could've just laughed."

"Ha-ha-ha," Namjoon followed through.

Jin rolled his eyes at him.

"Where's Eunwoo?" he asked after a moment as he did not sense him close to him or anywhere near the house, which made his brows meet as he was back on being vigilant.

"While we were on our way home, he forgot to buy some med supplies for your wounds -- we have emptied out our kit -- so he went back to buy them at the nearest pharmacy. I let him drive the car."
