There was a 5-inch ice sheet between the all-white girl who was walking on it and the dangerous beasts that were lurking beneath the lake's surface. Moreover, due to the algae, neither of them was aware of the presence of the other.

The girl continued her determined walk towards the house located in the middle of the lake. After a while, she finally reached the island where the house was situated. The entire island was blanketed in a thick layer of snow, even deeper than the snow in the surrounding forest. As she took her first step onto the island, her feet sank easily into the snow, and with each step, she found herself sinking deeper until she was knee-deep in the fluffy white powder. Despite the challenging conditions, she persevered, pushing forward with each difficult step.

Suddenly, her foot struck something hidden beneath the snow, causing her to lose her balance and tumble into the deep drifts.

She stood up and brushed the snow off herself, inadvertently uncovering something shiny in the process. Her curiosity piqued, she focused on the gleaming object and, upon closer examination, realized that they were scales. Intrigued, she brushed away more snow, gradually revealing the body of a creature hidden beneath. As she continued to clear the snow, the creature's large claws emerged, and a sense of fear washed over her.

Despite her growing fear, her curiosity got the better of her, compelling her to clear even more snow until she could see the head of the creature. She gasped softly and whispered in a trembling voice, "A Water Salamander?" Her brows furrowed as she stared at the lifeless body of the once-fearsome creature. "Who could have taken the life of such a dangerous creature?"

Turning her attention away from the Water Salamander, she scanned her surroundings and noticed something peculiar. A series of red, pointy stick-like objects jutted out of the snow at a distance. Intrigued once more, she made her way towards them and found more of these red protrusions scattered in the snow. Her insatiable curiosity drove her to clear the snow around these objects, hoping to uncover their origin.

To her surprise, she uncovered yet another lifeless creature hidden beneath the snow. This time, it was a Drag Spider. She gasped softly and whispered, her voice quivering, "A Drag Spider?" Her disbelief grew as she looked upon the lifeless arachnid. "Someone went to the lengths of killing even this creature?"

With her curiosity unyielding, she cast her gaze once more across the snowy landscape. This time, she spotted an unusual sight—a lobster tail protruding from the snow. She hurried over to investigate, her hands trembling as she cleared the snow to uncover the creature hidden beneath.

As she beheld the lifeless body of the creature, her voice quivered with shock, "A So... So... Sonic Lobster?" She stammered in disbelief, "There's no way someone could have taken the life this creature."

She turned her gaze towards the house, her face contorted with fear. An assumption had taken root in her mind that some monstrous inhabitant resided within. Just then, a gust of wind blew snow off the sign above the main entrance, revealing a terrifying skull painted on it. The sight left her paralyzed with terror, and her fear intensified exponentially, leaving her five times more terrified than she had been before.

Despite the frigid weather, beads of sweat had formed on her forehead, and her hands quivered. It wasn't the cold wind causing her unease but the overwhelming fear gripping her. "I shouldn't go in," she thought, her mind racing with doubts. "What if whoever or whatever lives here decides to attack me? I doubt I have the strength to stand against them."

However, a glimmer of hope pierced through her fear. "But what if they can help me?" She thought deeply, unsure whether to run away or explore what might be inside the eerie house.

She glanced back at the path she had taken, considering whether to retreat or proceed. However, when she looked at the snow-covered forest behind her, uncomfortable memories resurfaced, triggering intense feelings of distress. The traumatic memories brought back chilling recollections of men with blood-stained weapons, their cruel laughter echoing in her mind.

She clenched her teeth tightly, closed her eyes, and vigorously shook her head, attempting to banish the haunting memories. As the traumatic images slowly faded, she took a deep, calming breath. When she finally reopened her eyes, she turned her attention back to the ominous house. "Perhaps going inside is still a preferable choice to turning back," she contemplated.

She proceeded cautiously, each step taking her closer to the entrance of the house. Upon reaching the door, she gently turned the doorknob and discovered that the door was already unlocked. She entered cautiously, leaving the door ajar behind her.

With intentions of being polite, she began to call out to announce her presence to the house's resident(s). However, before she could utter a word, she was rendered motionless by the astonishing sight that met her eyes within the house.

She had entered the main hall, and her eyes were immediately drawn to a blood-stained carpet, with bone fragments spread across the floor. The walls were adorned with taxidermy mounts of various animals, their lifeless forms hanging eerily in place. Adding to the unsettling atmosphere, many portions of the walls were covered in creeping moss, intensifying the overall sense of horror.

As she took in the gruesome scene before her, the girl was overwhelmed by terror. Doubts gnawed at her. "Did I make a mistake? Is this the right place?" She stood frozen, her entire body trembling with fear.

Meanwhile, Vansh was in the bedroom with a different avatar from his 20-year-old self. Because he was lonely for many months, he was living how someone lonely would live in his house.

As soon as the girl entered the house, Vansh, without visual confirmation of the intruder's identity, sensed her presence. He braced himself, suspecting it could be another creature from the lake or possibly one from the forest. With both hands, he grasped the sword resting on the bed and hoisted it into an offensive stance. In one swift motion, he teleported directly in front of the trespasser, his sword raised high and a fierce war cry piercing the air.

For Vansh, it had been months since he had seen anything remotely human, let alone a girl. However, on the other side, the already terrified girl was thrust into an even deeper state of fear. She instinctively closed her eyes and let out a shrill scream of terror. Her heart raced rapidly, and her whole body trembled as she opened her eyes to the sight of a man, unclothed and armed with a large sword, charging toward her with a thunderous battle cry.

Initially taken aback by the sudden appearance of another person, Vansh's surprise quickly transformed into relief and happiness. He beamed a welcoming smile at the girl, though her screams continued unabated. Realizing that his presence was only escalating her fear, Vansh gently lowered his sword and, in a soothing tone, reassured her, "Hey! Hey! It's okay. I won't hurt you."

Upon hearing Vansh's reassuring words, the girl gradually ceased her screaming and cautiously opened her eyes. However, the sight of a naked man holding a sword and smiling at her startled her anew, causing her to react instinctively. She shut her eyes once more and let out another piercing scream in fear.

Witnessing the girl's continued fear and distress, Vansh made another attempt to reassure her. With a gentle tone, he said, "Hey, please believe me. I won't harm you."

In response, the girl shouted, "THEN WHY AREN'T YOU WEARING ANY CLOTHES?"
