9 What's Your True Colors, Honey?

"I told you that I feel like I've known P'Four before, remember?"

"Yeah, I told you that it could be a side effect of frequent time reversals."

"Yes, exactly!"

I casually unlock the door without even bothering to look at the doorknob. Our eyes meet while Vi's chowing down on her ice cream cone, waiting to join me inside. The ice cream starts melting all over her fingers. It's kinda gross, but I have to ignore it for now.

"I have proof that it's not just some side effect."

"How?"

"P'Four feels the same way."

"Seriously?" Her jaw drops open. "That's crazy." With that, we step inside and discuss this matter.

I stand firm; this is truly amazing! Since P'Four doesn't possess time-controlling powers or time immunity like me, it's almost impossible for her to share the same déjà vu experience.

There are some epic theories waiting to be discovered by Jattawa and Jaravi.

One of them would explore how previously occurring incidents repeat themselves.

"Someone must have the ability to turn back time, just like me."

"You mean P'Four?" Vi asks, her eyes sparkling with excitement.

I scratch my chin, pondering carefully. "No, if it were her, why would she question her own déjà vu experiences? No, it's not her."

"Then who could it be? Who else could be destined to have a connection with time like us?"

"Before speculating about who this person might be among the millions, let's first try to understand why only P'Four and I can sense it."

My little sister nods in agreement. She takes the last bite of her ice cream and casually wipes her hands. Ugh, you're just making them dirtier, you little rascal! Then she plops herself down on our cozy apartment sofa. "I think it's because you and P'Four are familiar with each other, but each time the world resets, the scenarios change."

Vi grabs her sketchbook from her bag and starts sketching a dark shadowy figure.

"There's someone out there who can reverse time even further than you. The big mysteries are who he is, why he did it, and why the hell he keeps reversing time so frequently."

Then, she briefly sketches the Earth.

"Every time this person turns back time, the Earth undoubtedly spins backward. Oh, and the Moon too, since it's a satellite."

I take a seat next to her, observing as she draws an arrow to show the Earth spinning in the normal direction.

"Now that the world continues to spin in a clockwise direction, the same events keep happening. The vegetable merchant still sells out her vegetables. The unlucky man still falls from his bike. Children who are supposed to be born are born, and so on. But for you guys, things are different. Your scenarios have changed. Let's say that in the first round, you would have become P'Four's girlfriend on Valentine's Day. Then, in the second round, it would be at the Loy Kratong festival, or maybe on Halloween Night in the third round. However, in the fourth round, you would have strongly disliked P'Four and wouldn't have easily accepted being her girlfriend. But then again, in the fifth round, you would have agreed to go on a date with her on a mountain or something like that. Do you get it?"

"Are you telling me that the events between me and her have been altered by some mysterious man with time-reversal powers? And that's why we experience these severe déjà vus?"
