Today, Aunt Tui's place is bustling with more customers than usual. A k-pop idol group held a meet-and-greet party at a nearby shopping mall, which naturally drew their fans to this area to fill their stomachs after enjoying the show.

My workload has increased. Now, I have to wash dishes, serve customers, and prepare ingredients all at the same time. I'm repeatedly cutting the red pork, boiling the meatballs, and running to buy ice to keep the baskets filled.

Not only am I extremely exhausted, but a customer even looked down on me. I changed to my casual outfit because I didn't want my university uniform to get dirty. That woman, accompanied by her primary school-aged daughter, pointed her finger at me while eating our dumplings. She said to her daughter:

'Noodee, you better study hard. Otherwise, you'll end up like her.'

What kind of person am I? A top scorer at the law school admission examination who will become a lawyer one day? When that happens, I wouldn't look down on others just like how she did to me.

"P'Four just sneaked out of her room after coming back home for a while. A huge black Lamborghini pulled up to whisk her away. Could it be her family? That means she's loaded, right? We're hitting the jackpot!"

My sister races over to me and spills the news energetically. I've just returned home from my part-time job, not even getting a chance to sit back and relax yet. My eyebrows scrunch together. "She's just a fellow part-timer like me. She's not some rich kid."

"Are you saying I was daydreaming?"

"Yep."

"What if I really saw it?"

"Go ahead, slap my face with your bare foot."

I confidently throw down the challenge. However, that night, thunder rumbles and I have to rouse myself from sleep to collect the clothes hanging on the balcony. Rain is pouring down, and I'm in a rush.

Despite the dark and rainy night, an elegant black Lamborghini finds its spot in the apartment parking lot. The driver's side door swings open in a flash.

A man in a white shirt with an extravagant tie steps out, swiftly unfurling an umbrella for the girl springing from the opposite side. 'P'Four' exits the car. She wears an off-shoulder dress, not too short but just enough for some freedom. She's always been on the taller side, but today she adds a pair of black high heels to complete her formal ensemble.

"I don't need an umbrella." P'Four mutters, sounding annoyed.

"If you catch a cold, it'll hurt me too." That guy speaks in a soft, charming tone. He got that playboy vibe—the type who knows how to charm the ladies. "Allow me to escort you to your room."

"Can you just piss off, Pak? We're no longer at the party, and no one's watching us. We don't have to be glued together."

"I don't think it's strange to walk you home because I'm concerned about you, my fiancée."

My fiancée... Did he just say that?

Somehow, it feels like the whole sky is throwing a star-studded tantrum. Did Vi really tell me that she's my soulmate?

Her vision isn't accurate at all.

Or perhaps, she simply lied to me.

"If you're worried that I might take advantage of you, you're mistaken."

"So what? Even if I'm wrong, I know you only agreed to our engagement because my grandpa is struggling with advanced liver cancer. Everyone can see what you're after. Well... You're a lawyer. You should know well that marriage requires the consent of both parties, not just some family-decreed decision."
