In preparation for the feverish peregrination ahead, it is essential to savvy the indigenous theology of Japan, which named Shinto. Firstly, the meaning of Shinto is Gods' Path or The way of Spirit.

(神=God/Spirit)
(道=Path/Moral/Ethics)

It is involves around the worship of ancestor but more towards Spirit of Nature, such as Sun, Moon, Storm or to a greater extent, landscapes like River and Mountain. In fact, the word (Kami=神) does not only means God or Spirit, it can also signify the energy of unseen supernatural existences. As a result, they believe human are naturally kind-hearted, until they were seduced by evil forces.

According to the research I performed so far, this religion does not have particular thesis and creator. Its existence is much more scattered through different regions and areas. All of these can be tracked back to Japan's Yayoi Period (300 BCE to 300CE). Now, despite Shinto is often mentioned along with Buddhism, however their ultimate goals are completely different from each other. Buddhism placed focus on essence of life and ascending through dimensions that filled with desires, emotions and tortures. Meanwhile Shinto aims towards life's sensible needs.

These covered the simplified summary, but in the coming related chapters or events, more teachings from Shintoism shall be discuss further. Always keep in mind, wise are those who learned to fear, respect and coexist with nature for we lacked understanding of undiscovered reality. That is all for now.
