Pete pov
I can't believe this is happening to me. This is all my fault, if anything happens to Patrick I won't be able to forgive myself. I haven't changed at all I'm still the Pete Wentz I was before I meant Patrick.
Joe and Andy are really mad at me for what I did. Frank and Gerard are probably regretting ever letting me in. Dallon and Spencer are both with Brendon trying to calm him down, he blames himself even through it's all me fault.
We are all waiting on the lobby until we get any information on Patrick. If anything happens to that baby Patrick will never forgive me, and I will never forgive myself. I don't think he'll even forgive now, since he's in here because of me.
I can't wait anymore I need to know what's wrong with Patrick. No one seemed to be at the front desk, which was strange so I walked down the hall until I found a nurse.
"Excuse me miss, do you have any information on Stump... Full name is Patrick Stump."
"Stump. No not really his doctor Williams, should know more about him through?"
"Were can I find him?"
"She... Is actually right over there" the nurse pointed at a women with short bright orange hair.
"Thank you."
I walked all the way to Doctor Williams. "Hey sorry. Can you please tell about Patrick Stump."
"Patrick... Um sorry I can't tell you information about my patient unless your related to him."
"I'm... I'm... The father of our child, and I'm just really worried. I just want to know if he's okay." I really can't believe I just said that.
"Oh so your the father, Nice to finally meet you. Patrick is fine he's actually resting and I'm about to prepare another ultra sound to check if the baby is okay."
"Can I be in there with him?"
"Yes of course. You are the father, come with me."
I followed doctor Williams into a room. Patrick was lying down on the bed a purple mark on his cheek. I couldn't help, but cry when I saw him.
"You can sit next to him if you want Mr...."
"Wentz, but please call me Pete."
"Alright Pete let me explain the procedure, since I never seen you with Patrick on his appointment dates."
"Yeah... I just been busy lately."
"Okay. Well I'm going to apply this gel, which is really cold but since Patrick is asleep I don't think he'll complain. Then I'll take this." she says grabbing a machine stick. "And check for the heart beat and how the baby is doing. You could look up the screen to see her."
I nodded "Okay."
Doctor Williams moved around the machine stick and nothing I couldn't hear a heart beat. I was holding on to Patrick's hand trying not to worry.
"There it is" she says.
I began to smile. I heard the most beautiful sound ever, the baby girl's heartbeat.
"Is she okay?"
"Yes, if you look here she is healthy almost about seven months now. She has developed perfectly and you could see her arms, legs, and head perfectly."
"You sure?"
She chuckled. "Yes Pete, you have nothing to worry about, Patrick and the baby are fine. The fall hurt because of how far along he is, it's important to be careful with him now more then ever. The bruise on his face will heal in a week."
I sighed in relief. "When will he be out?"
"I'll let him out tomorrow morning right now he's exhausted, and it's best to keep him here until tomorrow."
"Thank you."
"No need. Please just make sure he doesn't have anymore stress or anymore falls. In his condition it's important he's calm or else he will have a difficult labor."
"I will."
She nodded. "Okay I'm going to clean him up and I'll leave you guys alone."
I kisses Patrick's hand once Doctor Williams left. "I'm so sorry" I said to him.
"And I'm sorry too, baby girl." I kissed Patrick's stomach gently.
"This is my fault. All I wanted was you back and I didn't think of the consequences. I should have backed off when I first go here. I wish I could turn back time and start everything over again."
"Pete..." Patrick muttered in his sleep.
I looked at him confused. I didn't know if he was dreaming or if he knew I was here.
"Pat-" I was cut off.
"Pete... Our baby... Pete."
Our baby?
I tried to listen very carefully to anything he was about to say, but he didn't say anything after that.
