Naira groaned in her sleep trying to wake up, when she tried her best to put out the heavy weight from her she realized it was Kartik above her. She opened her eyes like to bear the biggest shocker seeing Kartik on her. She tried to put him out, but as he groaned in his sleep, and pleaded to let him sleep. She adored him with a smiling face. 

She stared at him for a few minutes, thinking how innocent could someone be. She came out of her thoughts when the maid came to the room, and was shocked to see them sleeping together. Naira faked herself sleeping to ignore Maid's suspicious eyes. 

Maid moved out of the room, thinking that there was really something between them. Naira where she was faking the sleep in that time Kartik woke up, Kartik reacted as if he was dreaming of Naira, and kept staring at her for a while. He put the strand of her hair behind her ears so he could have a proper view of her beautiful face.

*Naira's pov*

I woke up and was dumbfounded to see Kartik sleeping above me. I was just in my thoughts, admiring him how innocent he looked while sleeping. I keenly studied his features his beautiful eyes, perfect lips, and that killer jawline. Wait!! Naira get your head out of the gutter. The maid came and I hastily averted my thoughts and tried to fake my sleep. Within a moment or so Kartik too woke up, Kartik was unknowingly staring at me, maybe he was also shocked seeing me. I don't know why but when I was going to open my eyes and push him, he pulled my hair behind my ears. His touch gave me the shivers through my spine. I couldn't let myself open my eyes and confront him, instead beneath the eyes through eyelashes I was staring at him too. 

But after a few minutes, he really slept again, I mean what kind of guy he is? He was awake just right now and slept again did he think he was dreaming about me? I don't clearly know when but even I was drawn into the sleep too. 

We were sleeping but then suddenly someone's screams grabbed our ears due to which we were finally off from our sleep. Off from our sleep too but shocked as hell to see each other. Kartik really was like, as if he didn't remember I was sleeping in his room last night. He stared at me with his dilated eyes. He was literally trying to process the things happening. We still looking at each other, eye lock and in the statue position.

But my eyes blinked when someone else's eye came in front of my eyes. I looked she was Maya, I postured myself purely shocked to see her there too. Probably now I know the scream we heard was of hers for sure. She was blankly staring at me like I did some crime or what. I ignored her gaze and asked her to sit on the sofa and I would answer all her questions cooking up in her mind. 

I came downstairs, even at the same time Kartik too. We both gazed at each other, not due to awkwardness but giving each other best wishes to confront Maya and Sid. Both of them were sitting on the sofa and we both moved and stood in front of them like the most obedient kids. 

Maya took the initiative to ask the question first, So what was the reason?? I replied so much innocently " What?? ". She stared at me like she was going to rupture my muscles like a vampire. I was really scared now, but why was I scared it was just a compulsion mine because I was scared last night.
