*JIMIN*

~Five years ago~

“I can do this aunt. You don’t have to get so worried about me and my well being.” Jimin said, grabbing a mug filled with hot chocolate from the dinning table.

“You don’t get me, do you? You are a prince for Pete sake!”

“And can’t princes dance on stage?” Jimin questioned as he set the empty mug back on the table.

Hwasa let out a sigh of frustration as she massages her temple for the tenth time this morning. “What if someone out there recognizes you as the prince? what if_”

“What if you just stop thinking about the negativity and focus on the positivity?” Jimin cuts in. “This is my dream, aunt Hwasa. I’ve been dancing on stage for a pretty long time and no one recognized me to be their prince. They don’t even know what I look like.” He smiled. “You don’t need to get so worked up over nothing.”

“I don’t know…I just have a bad feelings about this show.” She said, lowering her gaze on the empty plate on the table. They had just finished eating when Jimin brought up the topic of his upcoming show. Hwasa is very happy for her nephew. Like seriously, after losing both his parents at the age of five, he still get to live his life to the fullest.

He was broken at first but ballet was his saving grace. When ever he thinks about his parents, he just begin to dance. Jimin started dancing at the age of six. He love dancing. Dancing was like his life. It helped him forget about his past and move on. It helped become the better person he was now.

But Hwasa still have a very strange and uneasy feelings about this show. It was the same feeling she had felt the day she lost her sister. She doesn’t want history to repeat itself again with her nephew.

“Come on, Aunt. it’s just a show. There’s no big deal in it and besides I won’t be the only one dancing on stage.” He said, trying his possible best to convince his aunt that everything would be fine but it seemed like his persuasion were falling to deaf ears.

“You are a prince”

“You’ve said that earlier but I see nothing wrong in a prince dancing on stage. And this isn’t also my first time dancing on stage.”

“Royals have lot of enemies, you know that right?”

“Nothing will happen to me, aunt. I assure you.” He reached out to his aunt’s hand across the table. “I’ve been waiting for this show all my life and now it’s finally here. I don’t want anything to stop me from being a part of the show.” He squeezed his aunt’s hand gently. “And if you like, you can come along with some guards. I mean, that will calm you down a little.”

Hwasa hesitate for a moment as she just stared at her nephew, saying nothing. After a moment of silence she finally spoke. “Alright then.”

Jimin squealed. he got up to his feet and ran towards his aunt, then engulfed him in a big hug, grinning from ear to ear.

“Thank you so much aunt. Thank you!”

Hwasa smiled, wrapping her arms around her niece. She was happy with the fact that Jimin is happy. Jimin is never the dull type. He was always bubbling, playing and smiling. He makes people around him happy even without trying. Most people would be sad after losing a family but Jimin lost both his parents on the same night and yet he didn’t make that affect him in any way. He still stood strong and fought for his happiness. Well, thanks to ballet also. It added to his improvement and bubbly personality.
