~Memories are what make us who we are~

*THIRD PERSON POV*

"What's going on here?" Mina asked, walking in on her children fighting.

"She started it!" One of them said immediately, feigning hurt.

"Stop lying! You started it first!" The other one said, crying as well.

Mina stared at the both of them for a while before shaking her head, letting out a deep sigh. "Can you both just keep quiet? What's wrong with the both of you, huh? How can you both be fighting each other like this? You are twins for crying out loud and should be each other's backbone."

"I'm sorry mommy." The quiet twin apologize, bowing her head.

"Can you stop apologizing!?" Mina yelled in annoyance, glaring at her like she did something wrong.

"Mother..." The child called out, surprised at her mother's outburst.

"Why do you keep apologizing over every little thing? And who taught you how to thank people whenever they do something they are meant to do? Is it your father?" The child nodded her head. "Then this is me teaching you now..." She lowered herself to the child's level. "Stop apologizing for every little thing and stop appreciating people that you pay for their service. You are the boss and you should act like one. Be less of yourself and be more like your sister." She turned to the other twins. "She reminds me so much of myself but you," She looks back at her. "Sometimes you make me regret why exactly I gave birth to two kids." With that said, she walked away.

"You heard mom. Be more like me although it will be very difficult for you."

"Mom, what's going on?"

Mina sighed, running her fingers through her hair and taking a gulp of her red wine. "Your father isn't picking up his phone. I'm worried." She said.

"You don't have to be, mother. Maybe he's busy or something." She said. "You are drinking...again."

Mina rolled her eyes. "It's just red wine not tequila." She pointed out. "And besides I'm only taking it just to calm my nerves and not to get drunk."

"Will red wine help calm your nerves?"

Mina smiled, nodding her head. "Trust me, it does." She raised a questioning brow at her. "Where is your sister?"

"She's in her room...busy. I guess."

"It's been ten years now and you both are still not close. I wonder why."

"She just doesn't like me, mother. I've been trying my best to make things work between us but she just... doesn't like me."

"She's your twin...she doesn't hate you, dear." She took another gulp from the cup and turned to look out of the window. "Make it work between both of you. Even if she's pulling away still do everything within your ability to make her love you."

"What if I can't do it?"

"Then it becomes your problem." Mina answered with a shrug of the shoulder.

It been a month since they lost their father.

It was heartbreaking.

They all felt broken after his death.

She was wrong to think that their father was busy that day when he wasn't picking up their mother's phone.
