Chapter 4: The Curse Of Dealing With Someone I Hate

I walked through the village until I get pulled in a house. When I looked I saw it was May. "Ma-" She hits me and whispered "Shut up. Number 3, 7 and 9 is here." May says. I get confused and say "Number 3, 7 and 9?" May looks at me so disappointedly and say "The strongest people in the world came to raid this place." I get mad and say "Well then let's welcome them to a beating." I start walking towards the door and May grabs me by my collar and pulled me back. I get surprised and say "Why'd you pull me back?" May then says "What kind of stupid question is that? Didn't you see what the number 20th strongest person can do?" I frown "But I want to get out of here and go back to Tenko." May then say "You know what, you're not my problem anymore Tenko is. Go ahead and get yourself killed." I got sad then I decided I'll do this for May. I ran out. Immediately I'm greeted by number 3 so I look at him and I say "Hi I'm Jinsoo what's your name?" Number 3 looks at me and says "Shirai Kotono. Why were you in there?" I then say "Listen Shirai you're one of the strongest right? Stop raiding this village or my friend May will stop you." Shirai starts laughing and I get discouraged but say "Alright you asked for it, May come out here." After 2 minutes passed nothing happened. I start thinking she left me. Shirai aims a beam at me and then shoots it but May jumps in the way and absorbs it then shoots it back at him with her gun. Number 7 and 9 then come and try to jump in but Moyashi shoots a fireball at them and she lands. May got on and dragged me with her. May then says "Me personally I don't care if you die but Tenko told me to save you on the phone. So now i'm forced to hear your annoying voice again." I have never thought so highly of Tenko. Then suddenly I hear the voice (Choose a skill: Illusion mist 6 points or Fire explosion 19 points.) I don't know what to choose here so I say "Hey May if you had an option between a skill called Illusion Mist and Fire explosion which would you choose?" May says "Probably Illusion mist, better tricking and sneaking up on an enemy like you. It's better for you anyways since you can't fight."  I then say "Illusion mist." and the voice disappears and finally Moyashi lands. We get off and then we walk to Tenko's house but before that May turns to Moyashi and says "Moyashi, come turn into your original form." Suddenly smoke appears and through the smoke is a little girl with yellow hair and dragon horns. "Hehehe let's go mommy." May smiles and walks inside with Moyashi. I look at her but because of how small Moyashi is I don't see her until she taps my leg and I accidentally kick her. When I see her fly into a wall she starts crying saying "My wings wahhhh!" May slowly looks towards me and says. "Do..you...wanna...die?" I try to plead my case "I didn't see her I swear." May got up to comfort Moyashi while also keeping an eye on me. She taps Moyashi's back for a while until she burps a fireball in my face and I cough up the smoke then I say "Why I oughta-" May then interrupts me and says "Finish that sentence..I dare you." I stop talking but think to myself (Out of everyone in the world why'd I get stuck with this witch.) I keep thinking about how I have to deal with this everyday until I hear an alert. "I have to go tutor my student." May says and I then grab her "Wait May it's late outside stay here and sleep you can skip this job." I tell her. May pinches the bridge of her nose to stop herself from getting mad. "How many times I have to tell your clingy ass that I have debt to pay. In a second you're gonna make me curse you out again. Stop ruining my life." When May walked away from me I suddenly saw a black car and out stepped number 2. I saw him look down at May and say "Well May where's today's money?" May freezes in place and then I remember she got the treasure but she didn't get to pawn it because of me. She also didn't get to finish her other jobs because of me. May stops and tries to say something but I step in front of her "Hey there um what's your name?" I say. Number 2 looks at me while lighting a cigarette and says "Matsumoto Hishitaka." May smirks and sarcastically says "Oh no I care about him so much , don't hurt him oh no...He's my long lost brother!" I get a bit scared after that and look at May but I look back at Matsumoto. "Hey listen can we work something out? What if I help pay off May's debt?" Matsumoto takes the cigar out his mouth and blows the smoke in my face. "No." I get mad and punch him in the stomach by accident. 

Matsumoto looks at me and starts laughing then he says "You got balls kid I like that." Matsumoto pulls his hand back and knocks me in the face, knocking me out. May smirked and laughed a little bit and Matsumoto said "That kid is brave, tell you what you get a free day today. I expect our payment tomorrow." Matsumoto goes back to his car and drives off. I stay there unconscious and May walks over me to get to her job. Later on I wake up in Tenko's house and Tenko says "Oh you're up, that took a lot of healing magic." I then say "Sorry so I got knocked out by number 2 huh?" Tenko looks at me and nods but then she says "But I'm checking your stats now and it's amazing. Your health is at 20,000 what have you been doing?" I reply "Getting tossed around." Tenko giggles a bit "I see well come on I have somewhere I want to take you but first." Tenko takes her shirt off and says "Go ahead suck." I get nervous again but I bite into her neck and begin sucking her blood. I do this for 7 whole minutes then stop and I hear the voice again. (Choose your new skill: Bat transformation or Hypnosis.) I feel unsure because they both sound great "Bat transformation." The voice disappears and then I say "Tenko where'd May go?" Tenko says "Oh May went to her job. She has assassination today." I feel sad then I say "I'm going to check out the town again and I'll be back soon." Tenko nods and I walk off.
