Amarao Porano Jaha Chay
I was roaming at corridor and humming the song by admiring the sweet golden hour. Nature looks so fascinating at this time. There is nothing exist in this earth which can beat this time with a cup of tea. As the thought came in my mind I turn my heels towards the kitchen to make a cup of tea for myself. I was at mid way suddenly, suddenly my mom called me.
'' Aakhi'' .
'' Hea ma.''
Yes Ma.
'' Amar Shathe Ayy.''
Come with me.
''Kothay?''
Where?
'' Abhider Barite.''
To Abhi's house.
''Keno?''
Why?
'' Keno abar ki? O esheche tui dekha korbi na?''
What why he came, Won't you meet him?
''Oh Goddddddd....... Why always me? First, my best friend, and second, my mom. Why everyone is so desperate to meet him? No, I'm not going to meet him. Why would I go to meet him? He's my enemy.'' I said to myself.
'' Where are you lost now?'' I came back from my thoughts by her question.
'' I'm not going. You go.'' I reject her proposal and attempt to turn my heels again towards the kitchen yet it failed by my mom's question.
''Why won't you go with me?'' She inquired.
'' You know, ma, how he used to trouble me, and I also don't like him.'' I replied with a sign of annoyance on my face. She looked toward me with her knitted eyebrows .
'' Hello, Miss, you are the one who used to annoy him while he studied.'' She said by twisting my ear.
'' Aahh ma lagche.''
Aahh ma, it's hurting.
She left my ears and held my wrist.
'' No more words; let's go.''
She dragged me to that brat Abhi's house ignoring my annoyance fully. As a obedient girl, I needed to went with her.
''Kire Aakhi! Koto din por toke dekhlam. Ar bujhi ashte mon chay na kakimar barite?''
Aakhi! After so many days I've seen you. Don't you want to visit your aunt's house anymore?
Abhi's mom exclaimed in happiness after seeing me.
'' No Kakima there is nothing like that.'' I answered shyly. 'I don't to come here only cause of your son;. I said to myself to control my disturbance by coming here.
'' Only Aakhi is here, and I'm invisible, nah?'' My mom said it dramatically. Kakima Chuckled at her statement and went near her. '' Oh my god, how can I forget my best friend?'' They hugged each other.
'' Let's sit and have some tea. I also have something really important to tell you.'' Abhi's ma said by holding my mom's hand. They looks cute while they act like they are still young best friend .
'' And Aakhi Abhi is on the first floor; go and meet him.'' She added lastly.
They left me alone at the corridor and went towards the living room.
What the hell ! They left me and want me to meet him alone?
I never can. It's weird for me. I took my steps towards the main door to leave because I'm too uncomfortable to meet him, yet I thought that it would be disrespectful to Kakima if I leave without meeting him. I admired the stairs which lead to the first floor. I took a deep breath to grab some courage. I nervously climbed the stairs and turn my heels towards his room. I didn't come at this floor from past years. Last I came with my mom to see off him. I could still remember that day. A soft smiled took place on my lips as I recall those memories. I was right outside of his room. The door was locked.
Nothing Will Happen.
Nothing Will Happen.
Nothing Will Happen.
I encouraged Myself for once more before knocking the door.
*knock, knock*
