"Wait Tara I have a question."

"Yeah?"

"Between me and Rilyn, which one would you rather kill?"

"Kill?" I looked over to Rilyn who was completely tuning out our conversation.

"Yes. Kill. Who would you kill?"

"Oh you 100%" I said with a straight face. Carter looked baffled.

"Why me?" He asked with a frown.

"Because with you gone I would pass every class!"

"And with you gone I would have more time to antagonize Rilyn."

"Ok so let's both kill ourselves."

"..."

"..."

"Please do." Rilyn chimed in.

"WHAT?!"

"I'M KIDDINGGG!" I rolled my eyes. Studying with Rilyn and Carter had become a regular thing. We meet up on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Me and Drew usually try to hang out twice a week, or just whenever something fun comes up. I talk to Lucy at least every other day, and call my parents about once a week. Usually if I'm facetiming Lucy, they'll pop up in the background and say hi.

"I have to go." Rilyn stood up.

"Where are you going?" Carter asked.

"Away from you guys!" She smiled.

"Wowwww."

"I should probably go too." I laughed. "Nick wants to go to some party tonight."

"Okay so both of my female friends hate me."

"I mean..." I inhaled through my teeth. "You aren't wrong." Carter held onto his chest like I just shot him in the heart.

"What party are you going to?"

"I don't know." I pulled up the text with the address on it. "This one."

"Oh hey I'm going there too!"

"Okay I'll see you there then, I really have to go get ready." I grabbed my backpack and left.

I got back to my room and saw Elaine sitting on top of her desk, on facetime with her boyfriend.

"Hi Laine. Hi Drew."

"Hi." They both said in unison.

"Tara are you going out tonight?"

"Yeah are you?" She groaned very loudly.

"NO I HAVE A TEST TOMORROW!"

"Sucks to suck I guess."

"What time are you coming back?"

"I don't know. Whenever I can't see straight anymore I guess."

"Stop it you are making me jealous."

"Sorry!" I signaled Elaine to move her camera over so I could change. It was getting a little cooler outside so I put on a pair of black jeans and an orange going out top. "Lainey can you straighten my hair?"

"Why can't you?"

"I have to do my makeup." I frowned.

"Ugh fine." Elaine was much faster at straightening hair than I was because she did it much more often. My hair has super light natural waves and I don't like the way my face looks with straight hair, but Nick loves it. I was finishing my makeup right as he knocked on the door. Elaine opened it and let him come in.
