THE SEVEN

Chapter 6

Before entering the lunch room, Enzo texts the hh sammy group to get ready. 

Hanzel: Come in already

Hannah: Ready

Samuel: We're all ready

Enzo looks at Jelly, and gives her a nod, signing her to go in. They both walk slow and laid back like what they think trouble makers would do. They walk around a little bit waiting for the other group to start something. 

On the other side of the room is Sammy, Hannah, and Hazel. 

"So how are we going to do this?" Hannah whispers

"We'll do exactly what they told us to" Hazel replies

"Seriously?" Samuel sighs "Are we really going to do a 3 v 1"

Hazel rolls her eyes at Samuel "Relax Sammy. It's just a bit of acting. It's not like we're actually going to hurt them."

"Yeah, It's just for show anyway" Hannah chimes in "Grow some balls"

Samuel looks down at himself then back at Hannah. He felt the need to prove that he had the balls any man would have. 

"I do have balls" He says, embarrassed

"Then prove it"

Samuel was never a fighter, except for once during 8th grade. He got into a fight with some bullies at his school after standing up for a girl in his class who was always their toy to play with. He lost, and was always afraid to fight people since then. He was humiliated in front of the whole school, and he didn't want that to happen again. 

Hannah notices the uncomfortable aura he was giving. 

"Look," Hannah smiles "We'll tell you what to say, and we'll join in the fight if you need help" 

"But aren't we all supposed to be fighting?" 

"Yeah" Hazel answers "But you need some practice out of the tech stuff"

Samuel nods, still looking a bit uneasy. All three of them begin to plan who will do what. Meanwhile, across the room, Enzo and Anjelica exchange a quick glance. Enzo could tell Anjelica is growing a little impatient. 

"It hasn't been that-" 

"They're right there" She interrupts him 

"Why do you keep doing that?" He finally asks, getting annoyed at the fact that she always interrupts him

"Do what?" She asks as they try to walk as normally as possible

"You know what, I could tell you know what I'm talking about" 

"How could you tell" 

"You're bad at hiding your lies"

As they pass by the table where the hh sammy group is seated, Samuel jumps up, his face reddening with anger. "You think you're so tough, Enzo, but you've never faced someone like me before!"

Both Enzo and Anjelica stare at him in silence, cringing at what he just said. In the background they could hear Hazel and Hannah laughing. 

Anjelica pushes Samuel back in his seat and quickly turns to Enzo to continue their conversation. 

"How am I bad at hiding my lies? I'm the best spy here" 

The lunch room goes quiet, everyones attention shifting towards them. Hazel and Hannah glance at each other, knowing that this tiny mission is ruined. 

"Anjelica" He whispers "We're on a fucking mission right now, you can't be saying stuff like tha-"

"Stop telling everyone what to do" She snaps "You always act like you're the boss. You're not"
