Anjelica's eyes widened at the sight of the Prince of Dubai, and for a moment, the tension between her and Enzo was forgotten. The group huddled around the bound and gagged royal, who seemed both relieved and confused at their sudden appearance.
"What in the world is going on here?" Han questioned, her eyes scanning the room for any signs of danger.
"It looks like we stumbled upon some royal drama," Hazel quipped, her eyes never leaving the Prince.
"Should we free him?" Jelly asked, already reaching for her pocket knife.
"Wait!" Enzo's voice cut through the room. "We need to be cautious. This could be a trap."
"A trap in an abandoned mansion?" Sarah scoffed.
"Who knows? Let's not take any chances. Samuel, do you have any ideas?" Enzo turned to the bespectacled member of the group.
"Um, maybe we could... ask him?" Samuel suggested, rubbing the back of his head awkwardly.
Anjelica rolled her eyes, "Great plan, genius."
Ignoring her, Enzo approached the Prince cautiously, making sure not to make any sudden movements. He slowly removed the gag from the Prince's mouth.
"Thank you," the Prince sighed in relief. "I never thought anyone would find me here."
"Who are you, and what happened?" Sebas inquired.
"I am Prince Zayd Al Maktoum of Dubai," he introduced himself. "I was on my way to a diplomatic meeting when our plane crashed. I managed to escape, but I was captured by these two," he gestured to a cringe-worthy-looking man and a pick-me-girl dancing to BTS in the corner.
Brianna stopped mid-dance move, realizing she had been caught. She straightened up, her eyes widening.
"What? You're Prince Zayd?" Brianna tried to act surprised but failed miserably.
"Who are you?" Anjelica asked, her suspicion growing.
"Um, I'm Brianna, and this is, uh, Fred," she gestured to the cringe-worthy guy who was still trying to impress her with his dance moves.
"Fred?" Han raised an eyebrow.
"He's, uh, my partner in crime. Literally." Brianna chuckled awkwardly.
"Crime?" Sebas looked at them, puzzled.
"We were trying to, um, kidnap the Prince for ransom," Fred admitted, scratching his head.
The entire group stared at them in disbelief.
"Seriously? Ransom?" Hazel burst into laughter.
"And you thought dancing to BTS was an effective distraction?" Sarah added.
Brianna blushed, realizing her grand plan had fallen apart. "Well, I thought it would be cool."
"Wow, just wow," Jelly shook her head.
Prince Zayd looked unimpressed. "Can we get out of here now?"
"Sure, let's untie him and find a way off this island," Enzo suggested, still glaring at the failed kidnappers.
As the group worked together to free the Prince, Sebas couldn't help but notice Sarah's concern for the royal guest. A pang of jealousy pricked at him, but he quickly pushed it aside, focusing on the task at hand.
Anjelica, on the other hand, found herself reluctantly impressed by Enzo's leadership skills. Maybe, just maybe, there was more to him than she initially thought.
As they navigated through the abandoned mansion, searching for an exit, Hannah and Hazel found themselves drawn to each other. The adrenaline of the situation had brought them closer, and they shared a few whispered jokes and smiles.
Outside, the tension between Brianna and Fred escalated as he continued his relentless attempts at flirting. Brianna couldn't hide her disgust, and the rest of the group exchanged amused glances.
Finally, the group emerged from the mansion, and the sight that greeted them was unexpected. Mody stood there, arms crossed, an annoyed expression on his face.
"About time you guys showed up," he grumbled.
"We were dealing with royal kidnapping drama, Mody. Cut us some slack," Sarah retorted.
Mody's eyes flickered to the Prince, realization dawning on him. "Oh, great. What did you guys get yourselves into now?"
"We saved a prince," Han proudly declared.
"Saved or stumbled upon?" Mody raised an eyebrow.
"A bit of both," Jelly admitted.
The Prince stepped forward, gratitude in his eyes. "Thank you for saving me. I am forever in your debt."
"Don't worry about it. Just don't crash your plane on our island again," Hazel joked.
As the group prepared to leave the island, Sebas couldn't help but feel a sense of relief. The romantic tension between him and Sarah had taken a backseat in the chaos, and he was determined to enjoy the adventure without overthinking things.
Anjelica and Enzo, despite their differences, found a newfound respect for each other. The enemy-to-lovers tension lingered, but there was a hint of understanding.
Hannah and Hazel, amidst the chaos, realized that the bond they shared was more than friendship. The friends-to-lovers trope subtly unfolded, and as they boarded the plane, their hands brushed, sending a spark of something unspoken between them.
Brianna and Fred, defeated and embarrassed, slinked away into the shadows, their failed attempt at villainy leaving them with nothing but awkward memories.
As the plane took off, leaving the mysterious island behind, the group exchanged glances, their shared adventure forging bonds that would last a lifetime. Little did they know, their journey was far from over, and more hilariously chaotic adventures awaited them in the future.
