PROTECTION MISSION DAY THREE

"Good work everyone! We're in Jujutsu-High's barrier now." Satsuki said nonchalantly while Riko let out a sigh of relief, taking some time to breathe after having to walk up the several amount of stairs.

"What a relief."

"Man I'm glad my baby sitting duty is finally over." Y/N said while looking at Riko and Kuroi, a pout on the girls face as she punched his arm.

"Come on I wasn't that bad...You can't tell me you at least didn't have some fun!" She said much to his amusement.

He would be lying if he said he regretted coming along, perhaps he made the right choice.

"Yes yes, you're right. I suppose your antics did give me a bit of entertainment." He grinned while she responded with a huff.

"Satsuki." Suguru looked at Y/N and her with a smile on his face. Content with the conclusion of the mission as he let out a breathe of relief.

"Hm?"

"You really worked hard this time. And Y/N, I'm glad you tagged along."

"Hah...I never wanna get stuck babysitting a brat again." She said with an annoyed tone as Riko only looked confused.

"Yeah and I never wanna get stuck with this idiot on a mission aga—"

He pointed toward Satsuki, his eyes drifting to her but before he could finish his thought the scene of a blade being stabbed through her chest made his eyes go wide.

"Impossible! We're inside the barrier!" Geto thought with disbelief in his voice.

"H-Hey...are you kidding me?" Y/N manages to let out with a sweat dropping on his face. Not sure if what he was seeing was correct or not.

"Have we met before?" A hitch of breathe escapes her lips as she looked back. A drop of sweat rolling down her face.

"Don't worry about it. Introducing myself to a corpse serves zero purpose." Toji Zenin said with a grin on his face.

TOJI POV

I once went to see the brat born into the Gojo clan with the six eyes on a whim. But never had I expected the child of the Kazuki family to be alongside her that day.

There were stories from the three great sorcerer families about the massacre that occurred to his family. One night a special grade curse showed up and completely brutalized all of them.

In the end out of seven family members the sole survivor was the youngest boy Y/N Kazuki.

Apparently one day he just showed up to the Gojo estate in a daze and since then he lived with them.

But even then...

Never before or after had anyone but her noticed me standing behind them.

That's why I wore her down...until her senses were dulled.
