20: Shibuya

"It seems that it's a curtain that only traps civilians. Allowing Jujutsu sorcerers to come and go as they please." Ijichi spoke with his usual nervous tone as his face produced sweat like usual, it was not uncommon for him to be worried while on the field but tonight seemed for more sketchy than normal.

"Got any reception?" Ino asked Megumi as the boy merely shook his head.

"Looks like communication will have to be done outside the curtain or between the group leaders." Nanami replied coolly adjusting his round glasses.

"As for that...where is Gojo and Kazuki?" He turned to Ijichi while asking curiously.

"You're telling me nobody's here at the busiest intersection in Shibuya at Halloween night!?"

"Looks like something went wrong. Everyone's spread across the curtains paremeter asking for the same thing...'bring Gojo Satsuki'"

"Hmph! There's absolutely no way non-sorcerers would know the name of the strongest asset in jujutsu society, they were told to say it." Naobito Zenin, the head of the Zenin clan huffed as he  rubbed his pointy mustache. Maki attempting to control herself and not hit the old man upside the head with her pole-staff merely remained quiet.

"And you're saying we can't break the curtain?"

"It's too tough. Afterall the curtain isn't restriction sorcerers from either side, we can't just destroy it with brute force so we'll have to take out the curse who summoned it."

"So we're here to help with that?" Maki asked curiously, wanted to do anything but sit around idly by while everyone else scrambled around trying to figure out what was going on.

"The higher ups are apparently asking Gojo to work alone on this to suppress any damage and the widespread influence of whatever's doing this." Kusakabe spoke with a lollipop in his mouth, bored out of his mind but much preferably doing nothing then having to face off against curses.

"Apparently Kazuki objected to letting her work alone on this. The guy was freaking out, probably has to do with those episodes he has. Can't help but feel bad for him...anyway Us, Nanami, and the Zenin geezer along with Mei Mei are meant to just sit and wait to minimize casualties."

"Minimize casualties...You mean sorcerers right? What about the civilians?" Panda asked inquiring about the several thousand people trapped inside the curtain.

"Relax. Unlike last years Christmas event we're already too late. Besides, I looked in there myself and it looks peaceful. Not a single curse in sight, they're just trapped. That said I'm not going back in there."
