A/N: Apologies for the delay in the update. This chapter is a bit longer than usual. I'm not entirely certain about the Thai customs when it comes to visiting the remains of loved ones. My knowledge is mainly from TV shows and some quick online searches, so I might be mistaken. I'll make sure to do more research next time. Hope you enjoy this chapter!

Pete's day off had finally arrived, and he was determined to make the most of it by spending quality time with his adorable children, Seoul and Venice. The sun was shining, and the atmosphere in their room was filled with warmth and laughter.
Pete sat at their small dining table, a spoon in one hand and a jar of baby food in the other. Little Seoul was perched in her high chair, her big round eyes fixed on the approaching spoon with anticipation. Across from her, Venice was digging into his porridge with enthusiasm, making a delightful mess all over his face.
As Pete carefully fed Seoul, making airplane noises to coax her into taking another bite, the tranquility of the morning was suddenly shattered. The door burst open with a bang, causing Seoul to jump in her chair and burst into tears.
In walked Tankhun, looking utterly disheveled in his rumpled sleeping robe. Pete quickly scooped up Seoul, cradling her in his arms to comfort her. Venice, never one to hold back, turned to his Uncle Tankhun with an accusatory finger pointed at the offending door.
"Uncle Tankhun! You hurt the door!" Venice declared, his tone dripping with frankness.
Tankhun wants to roll his eyes but he decides not to. He looks at the door, "I'm sorry, door". Then he looks at the little boy, "I'm sorry, Venice." He then reaches over and gently pats Seoul's head, offering a sheepish apology to the little girl.
Pete, trying to make sense of the early morning intrusion, finally spoke up. "Khun Noo, what on earth are you doing here at this ungodly hour?"
Tankhun, now fully awake and somewhat embarrassed by his abrupt entrance, explained, "I saw something on my calendar."
Pete raised an eyebrow. "What is it?"
With a dramatic flair, Tankhun revealed, "Seoul's first birthday is only 6 weeks away!"
Pete, less than impressed, responded with a casual, "Ohh."
Tankhun, feeling a bit more excited about the idea than Pete, grew irritated. "'Ohh?' That's it?!"
Pete chuckled and reasoned, "Well, what do you want me to say? Besides, we will just have a small celebration that day, right?" Pete said while looking at Seoul who already stopped crying.
Tankhun scoffed, "Nonsense." He insisted, "Leave it all to me, Pete. I'll plan a fantastic party."
But Pete wasn't about to give up control so easily. He shook his head and said, "No grand party. If we're celebrating my daughter's first birthday, it's going to be my way."
Tankhun couldn't help but laugh. "Ohh, please! You know that I am the party planner in this mansion. It will be a fabulous birthday party for my darling Seoul!"
Pete then playfully threatened, "Ohh yeah? If plan something I don't agree with, I'll take my kids away that day and have our celebration!"
"You'll not!" Tankhun said.
"I will. Try me," Pete smirks at him.
Tankhun, though a bit sulky about losing control of the party planning, "Fine! Have it your way! Just let me help! Don't ask Porsche for help! Hmmp!" Tankhun glares at Pete before he leaves the room, still sulking. Pete shook his head and smiled before putting Seoul back on her high chair and continuing to feed her while reminding Venice to eat his food slowly.
