A/N: I dedicate this chapter to puckbaes, the author of the fanfic "Duet With Destiny." Your story comforts me so much and has helped me find my writing muse again. I aspire to write something like "Duet With Destiny"—light but heartfelt. Thank you! Read the fic, guys, if you want to escape the angst and smut fic genre of VegasPete.

"We're here to discuss the upcoming anniversary of my first bar," Jae Yok began, her voice filled with excitement. "I can't believe it's been two decades since I opened it, and now we have four branches all over Thailand."

Porsche grinned, leaning back in his chair. "You've done an amazing job, P'Jae. It's been incredible to watch your dream grow. And it's a good investment!"

Tankhun nodded, his eyes reflecting genuine admiration. "If it weren't for Porsche bringing me to your bar years ago, I'd still be stuck in this mansion, cut off from the world. You've helped me overcome my fear, Jae."

Jae Yok's eyes glistened with gratitude. "And I couldn't have done it without you two investing in me. Your belief in my vision meant everything."

Suddenly, the door swung open, and Kinn and Vegas entered, their faces flushed from their recent firing session. Kinn took a seat beside Porsche, a playful smirk on his lips.

"How was your firing session?" Porsche asked, raising an eyebrow.

Kinn chuckled. "Vegas still sucks."

Vegas just smiled and shook his head, his eyes drifting over to Pete, who was standing on the side with Arm. Pete returned the gaze with a timid smile, his cheeks flushing slightly.

Tankhun noticed the exchange and cleared his throat dramatically. "Vegas!" Tankhun calls his cousin. Vegas looks at Tankhun, "Yes, P'Khun?"

"Since you've been a pretty nice boyfriend to Pete so far, I'm inviting you to Jae Yok's  first bar anniversary party."

Vegas looked at Pete, his expression softening. "Will Pete be there?"

Tankhun wants to roll his eyes at his cousin. "Of course, Pete will be there. He's my bodyguard. But you can hang out with him from time to time."

Vegas's smile widened. "Then I'll definitely come."

"Good," Tankhun scoffed, "Now sit down and hang out with us. Or ogle you teerak if you want!"

Vegas took a seat, and Arm scooted closer to Pete, whispering in his ear. "You should be ready. It's going to be a big party. Khun Noo will definitely dress you up."

Pete sighed, already imagining the elaborate outfit Tankhun would choose for him. He glanced over at Vegas, who was now listening attentively to Tankhun's animated conversation. Despite the nerves about the upcoming celebration, Pete couldn't help but feel a sense of contentment. He's working for a family that he respects and loves and he's able to be with the man he loves. He just hoped that Tankhun wouldn't give him an outfit that was the same level as his boss usually wears.

The day of Jae Yok's bar anniversary party had finally arrived. Pete felt a mix of excitement and nervousness as he got ready. He was relieved that Tankhun let him wear what he wanted to wear and reminded him that while it was a casual event, he should still dress to impress. So, a few days before the party, Pete went on a shopping spree, picking out something that would stand out.

On the night of the party, Pete put on his new outfit. He wore oversized pants and a matching blazer, and under the blazer, he dared to wear a black lace top. It felt bold, but he liked the look. He completed the outfit with casual sneakers, styled his hair, and added a few accessories. With the blazer buttoned up, the lace top was subtly revealed, striking the right balance between daring and elegant.
