Chapter VIII | Her Insecurity

It had felt like a quick week rather so, and with the impending arrival of Vladimir, there was one problem that the family had and that is the situation with Luna. Luna was not ready to face her brother in what felt like two hundred to three hundred years. They had no idea how to work with her through this situation. And they could not ask their human friend to handle such a situation since they wouldn't know how to handle it.

Yet they weren't willing to try such an attempt either, and in fact that Ezekiel suggested it wouldn't be not hard to ask their friend to do so. Besides, it seemed like their guest could handle it better but in the meantime such a thing. They had to figure out how they could approach him in order for him to retrieve their daughter. In the meantime, Luna had walked into the empty ball-room because she needed time to herself.

Luna had gone and played one of her favorite songs on their music system, which she thought that she had been alone for her own singing session. However amongst this time, Malachite had been walking about and all he heard was a voice. As he went to investigate the noise, he found Luna in the ballroom singing some song. Luna had not noticed him, which she was too focused on her own thing, to really pay any attention. 

Malachite continued to sit there and watch as she had done this, and after what had felt like almost a minute or two, then she was finally done. Only then did he say "Bravo, Such an amazing voice" which once Luna heard him, she immediately vanished. Luna was not ready to discuss this with him, especially with her cursed voice. However it wasn't really much a curse, but rather a gift but she saw it as a curse given.

However that was not the only insecurity that she had and more of her insecurities would rather be revealed over the course of the time at the Estate. But being seen singing, especially by a guest of theirs would be one of the top embarrassing moments for her. Even though the fact was that Malachite rather enjoyed the singing. Luna however did not want to stick around and such and she retreated back to her safe space.

Once Luna had arrived to her safe space, she had gone to her hiding corner now because once more she did not want to be found in the event that someone discovered it. In fact, she was one of the only few who could transform into small creatures. And she occasionally hid within the walls of the estate itself to keep herself safe. And this was her way of hiding from her family and well hiding from anybody really.

In the meantime her isolation was going on, with Malachite, he just sort-of couldn't help but remind himself what had happened. The guy had been thinking about what had happened and such, and yet her Isolation had only proved something. Whatever it was about her singing, she hated it so severely that she needed to run away from people. And then isolate her within the walls of the estate itself for her own safety.

In the meanwhile, Ezekiel was down in his laboratory and he was rather preparing his lab and such and he was hiding a lot of his experiments and such. It seemed like he does this whenever Vlad comes around because he always judges his work. Vlad hated all of his family, and he hated Luna the worse now and that was a truthful fact. He would rather see all of them die than to see all of them live their own lives.

Yet for Ezekiel, he was running through their guests blood sample just for the sake of it, however the computer began making a sound. Ezekiel found it odd and he found something about him that was rather chilling to his own bone. Later, Luna was in the laboratory and she said "What do you mean we have a Van Helsing here". Ezekiel stated "Our guest is the descendent of Abraham Van Helsing".

Luna replied "Who the hell is Abraham Van Helsing" Ezekiel stated "Van Helsing was one of the most prominent innovators in vampire research". Which made sort of sense, Abraham Van Helsing was quite the innovative one in vampire research. And a prominent leading voice on Medicine and protective measures on vampires. And now they have his grandson staying in their estate and he has an interest in Luna.

Alexander had only appeared and he said "What is the matter Ezekiel" which his wife appeared later behind Alexander now. Alexandria had only asked "What is going on with the circumstance now?" and Ezekiel stated "This". And Ezekiel had shown them their guest's record, and Alexander stated "We have a Van Helsing here?". Ezekiel nodded and he looked at his family now since they were surprised at this news.

Luna stated "Why the hell has he been fascinated with us then" which Ezekiel stated "You mean fascinated with you Luna" and Luna argued "Shut up with that". She added "He's not fascinated with me and It would be creepy if he was". Ezekiel stated "Yeah but it would be a hundred percent better than Prince" Luna immediately stated "Do not". Luna knew what he was about to say and she stopped him for good.

Something about that name is forbidden, and Luna does not want a single person to specifically say that person's name because of its curse. And she didn't want to say it but she believed in it, that the prince's name is exactly cursed. There is nothing beneficial to the name, except it is just an evil-done curse done by someone. Could've been a jealous family member of a whole, or maybe something happened and it resulted in this.

Yet with the night almost over and with the final day remaining until Vlad's return to the estate, it now depends on what the first hour with Vlad back will be like. And how things will fall through with the meeting between Van Helsing and Dragomir.
