DRAG RACE

Everyone was crowded for jug and Archie's race against the ghoulies

I was leaning on sweet pea's bike playing with the ring on my finger nervous of who would win

Sweet pea had his arm around me talking to Toni and fangs as I stared at the ring on my finger

"ALRIGHT LETS DO THIS" tallboy called out clapping his hands everyone cheering

Archie and jug got into the car starting It

Jug get out of the car walking to Malachai and saying where they go

After that they then both get into there cars

Toni walks up but is stopped by Cheryl

"Uhh I usually do the honors" Toni says

"Not today cha cha, I was born for this moment" Cheryl says walking backwards towards the cars

Cheryl stood in between the two cars

"Engines warm and ready gentlemen" Cheryl says smiling

Both the boys give the single and at that Cheryl puts her glasses on and sways her arms above her head

They were gone in a second I stayed in sweet peas arms worry spreading through my body

What if they couldn't win? I hated to think about it and what the future would behold then

Sweet pea noticed my worry and moved his hand to be around my waist, grabbing my attention away from the road

I smiled up at him "what's troubling you princess" he looked at me concerned

"Nothing special sweet pea" I kissed his cheek and he gave me a unconvinced look but dropped the topic

He knew I was stubborn and wasn't gonna budge from my answer finding it simpler to just let it go for now

I rested my head on his shoulder and started to play with my ring again

"Ewww get a room" fangs said scrunching is nose in disgust and I chuckled, I knew he was playing around

After a few minutes a ghoulie came running in screaming "everyone scatter the cops are rounding up ghoulies" and at that everyone panicked running to there vehicles driving away to not be caught

Tallboy came up to me, sweet pea, Toni and did some weird movement then went towards jug and Archie who just pulled up

Sweet pea let go of me and hopped on his bike and waited for me to hop on but I shook my head

"I gotta see if jugs okay" I ran over to the car

"Come on we gotta go right now" jug said panicking looking at everyone

"You called the cops" tallboy yelled at jug

"You won't throw in with the ghoulies but you will with the cops, where's the honor in that" tallboy says starting to get in jugs face

"Calm down tallboy, you think I knew Keller was gonna be there" jug says yelling back in tallboys face

Archie grabs jugs shoulder "I called Keller"

"What the hell archie, did my dad tell you about this too" jug yells at Archie

"No this was my idea to get rid of the ghoulies and it worked, the get arrested for street racing and now they're off the chessboard"

"For how long, one month, three months, you know what there gonna want on the other side Archie, your head on a stake, all of ours" jug yells pushing Archie slightly and getting into the car, Betty getting into the other side

I walked to sweet pea who was sitting on his bike watching the scene unfold

I hopped on the back and held my arms tightly around sweet pea as he drove off shortly after jug did

When we got back to his trailer fangs wasn't there

Sweet pea walked over to the couch letting out a sigh as he sat down

I walked over to him and plopped down beside him, wrapping my arms around him and put my head onto his chest

he put his arm around my shoulder holding me tightly

Soon fangs busted open the door and sat on the couch next to us

We sat there for a little while before I had to go

As I was walking to my trailer my stomach suddenly started to hurt were my scar was

I didn't stop walking until I made it to the trailer I flopped onto my bed throwing my shoes off and started taking deep breaths as the pain worsened

Soon the pain slowly died down and I began to fall asleep

"What are the other serpents saying" jug asked as me, him and Toni walked down the hall

"Some people give you props for challenging the ghoulies to a race and beating them, others hate that you cut a deal with Keller because it puts us in bed with the pigs"

"I didn't, that was Archie"

"Yeah I know that and you know that buts some of them don't"

I walked awkwardly behind them like I wasn't even in there conversation which I mean I wasn't really

We heard the radios of police

"Oh no is this another raid" jug asked

"Didn't you hear they caught the sugarman"

I looked shocked to see our English teacher the same one that told jughead not to write about gangs and drugs how ironic is that

I was behind the counter with Tyler our shifts about to end

"You know girl we really gotta hang sometime outside of pops, I miss hanging out with you" she frowned slightly

"I miss that time too, we definitely should organise a hangout soon" I smiled slightly remembering that time in our life's, we we're inseparable

"I'll shoot you a text when and where, you better be free"

"I I captain, I'll free my busy schedule when you send me that day" I stood straight and saluted her, she chuckled

After my shift ended I went home

As I laid down on my bed I remembered I had homework and I groaned

After finishing my homework I had a shower and got ready for bed putting on sweet peas shirt and some shorts

I put my hair in a bun and fell asleep spread out across my bed like a starfish
