Today the atmosphere of the office was a lot tenser than usual. No whispers and no laughters, with each worker being absolutely indulged in their given task.
How did it all change that way?
Well, their boss's tantrums had been all over the place since the few months, reason being his favorite employee's unreported frequent absents.
No it's not yn. It's Lisa.
She doesn't pick up hoseok's calls, constantly make excuses like her mother being in the hospital, only for him to check the hospital to find out that there was no lady with such name ever admitted. On top of that she's rude.She doesn't sweet talk anymore.
Doesn't it all point towards the fact that she might be..... cheating?
But he doesn't want to think that way.
So instead of taking her in accountability, he takes out his anger on the other employees.
Woonyoung walked out of her cabin, standing next to Nayeon's desk who was literally sleeping head down making her frown.
" Gosh! You're again sleeping!"
Hearing the shrill voice, Nayeon jolted up, looking at woonyoung with startlement.
"You scared me b*tch,!", she yelled with a grumpy face.
Woonyoung took a deep breath to calm her nerves.
"I've told you plenty of times not to cuss at me. If you really want to, then do it with Lisa. Now hand me the file I gave you this morning."
"It's not done yet.", Nayeon nonchalantly shrugged making woonyoung lose all her patience.
"Then what am I gonna give to boss?! Don't you know his tantrums are all over the place! I'm already doing Lisa's work because she wouldn't just show up. Now don't expect me to do anything for you!"
"I don't expect you to do anything for me alright!", Nayeon got furious. "If it wasn't for Rose I wouldn't even be doing this job. I can afford myself enough people to do such things. Well, unlike some other people."
Woonyoung glared at the latter. She knew Nayeon was trying to shame her for her struggling background.
"Oh really?", woonyoung gritted her teeth, leaning on Nayeon's desk.
"If you could really hire such people then why make that yn do all your work? You're quite stressed since she left, no? I believe your boyfriend can help with this situation though. Isn't he already paying your bills...."
