Chapter 22

"Dey! What's going on in this place, first it was Adu Du, then it was Ejo Jo and now it's you Lahap?! Who else is an alien here?" Gopal said, glancing at Boboiboy, "Don't tell me you're an alien too Boboiboy." Gopal remarked, nudging his elbows to Boboiboy.

"Eish, of course not. But Fang is apparently." Boboiboy pointed out.

"What?!?" Gopal and Fang shouted in sync.

Gopal sweat dropped, "Ey, why are you surprised too?" Gopal asked but Fang could only glance away to avoid the question.

Kaizo heaved a sigh, "It's true..." Kaizo started, his brows creased in worry, "I didn't expect Fang's amnesia to be that bad..." Kaizo clenched his fists. Recalling of the moment right before he sent Fang on the mission -- no... Even right before that -- Kaizo had reprimanded Fang, 'It might be the reason why Fang's brain wouldn't let him remember...' Kaizo thought.

"Haish... I'm sure that he'll remember soon, maybe it's taking so long because of how much memories he has lost." Lahap said, but there wasn't a reaction other than a guilt from Kaizo's face.

"Huh? Wei, what's happening now?" Gopal asked, "I feel like there's some context here that I needed to know."

Fang scoffed, "Apparently, not only I'm his brother, I'm also an alien and was only sent here to do my missions." Fang answered, "How is that believable??? I'm like, what? Ten years old?? I think... But I'm already doing missions???" Fang pointed out.

Gopal had sparkles in his eyes with his jaw dropped, "Woah!! An alien and an agent on a mission?! That's so cool, Fang!!" Gopal said, only for Fang to groan in annoyance.

"Do you hear yourself!?" Fang replied, "And it's not cool either!" he added but deep down, he thinks it is cool.

"Why not?" Kaizo asked, to which Fang him an incredulous look.

"But what's the mission about?" Gopal asked, causing Lahap to flinch at the question, this wasn't go unnoticed by Fang and Gopal, even when Gopal's back was facing Lahap, he just could the scent of guilt piling up behind Gopal. So he turns with his eyes squinted in suspicion, "Huh? What's wrong with you?" Gopal asked.

Lahap darts his eyes around with cold sweats running down his face, "U-uhmm... Uhhh..." as he was looking around, he found contact in Kaizo's eyes which was a glare so Lahap turned to face Fang but face looks as though he was about to eliminate him.

In cases like these, Lahap decides to use the method he used occasionally to the brothers whenever he wants to avoid an answer.

"Look! Is that guy selling carrot donuts?!" Lahap pointed into the air which Fang and Kaizo followed swiftly. That was the cue for Lahap to run.

"There's nothi-- Wei!!" Kaizo turned around to see Lahap gone, "Eish... How did I still get myself fooled like this..." Kaizo mumbled.

Hearing that, Fang flinched at the thought of being fooled, "Ack! So it was a trick..." he said.

And at this point, everyone had thought similarly to the two brothers.

'They really are brothers...'

"But uhhh.... why exactly did you keep this fact from us in the first place?" Gopal asked, garnering himself an attention from everyone, "Wouldn't it be easier if you had told us from the beginning?" he added, garnering some nods from Boboiboy and Adu Du.

"You're right, Gopal. So why?" Boboiboy turned to the older brother who only sighed.

'Sighing again?'

"I just thought that...." Kaizo started, hesitating for a moment before completing his words with, "...maybe he was pretending the whole time." Kaizo answered, getting an understanding from Adu Du.

"Ah! So you thought that Fang might've pretended to have lost his memories in an attempt to befriend Boboiboy and the others easier.... like a pity points?" Adu Du explained, which shocked the older brother and the others, causing them all to turn to Kaizo for confirmation.

At which to this point, he'd want to deny that but he swallowed the truth and slowly nodded. His eyes averting from the others gazes when they gasped and when they quieted down, Kaizo looks up to Fang who had a look of disappointment, or perhaps, hurt.

"So... the first thing that comes to your mind was that I was faking so you didn't come to check up on me?" Fang said, which widened the eyes of Kaizo, his hand stretching out to reach Fang only to be slapped away, "I... I think you've got the wrong brother." Fang said, jumping down from the countertop and left without saying another word while Kaizo just froze there, not knowing what he should do next.

Seeing the spectacle, Tok Aba and Boboiboy glared at the duo, who are Adu Du and Gopal, to which gave them a puzzled look back.

"What?/WHAT?!" The duo questioned in sync.

On the other hand, with Ochobot, he has been watching the event like an audience in the theater.

Back with Fang, he was walking alongside the road when he stopped to see Yaya at the other end of the sidewalk he is walking on. When the two saw each other, they waved as a greeting.

"Hey, Fang! Where are you going?" Yaya asked, "Can I come with you for a while?" she said.

"Huh? That's sudden, why?" Fang asked but Yaya gave him a basket full of carrot donuts, causing him to gasp and grab the basket. "Uwaahh~~! Carrot donuts!" Fang cheered, his eyes sparkling like stars as he stares out to the donuts.

"Just let me go with you Fang, no questions and I'll give you all these!" Yaya said and Fang swiftly nodded.

"Alright! I agree! Let's go then!" Fang said, not taking off his eyes from the donuts as he starts to walk, "I'll lead the way!" Fang added.

"Fang, how about we go somewhere peaceful? You seem down when I saw you." Yaya suggested.

"Huh? Peaceful? Where would that be?" Fang asked, he's mind occupied only for the donuts.

"Hmmmm... maybe..." Yaya drawled when her eyes darken and lips grinning, "Maybe the woods?" Yaya said, "There's a clearing that I found, the sun would shine down but there are shades we could could take cover and the breeze is warm to the skin." Yaya explained.

"Ohhh... That's sounds fantastic! Okay then, let's go!" Fang replied with much enthusiasm in his voice while Yaya just smiled at his cooperation.
