Chapter 24

Ying was searching around the woods, with her speed, she could cover the whole thing quickly while the others search around the village, probably shopping or visiting someone's place to test her cookies.

"Where could she have gone-- Huh!?" At the corner of her eye, she saw a glimpse of Fang's power, "That looked like..." Ying gets closer to a clearing but before she could see Fang inside the clearing, she saw Fang's power up in the sky, "...Shadow Dragon?"

Snapping out, she immediately ran to the clearing to see Fang all wound up while focusing on his Shadow Dragon in attacking Yaya who was floating about the sky to dodge the said dragon. "Fang!" Ying called out, "What are you doing, lah?!" Ying ran up to the boy and shook his concentration away, causing the dragon to fly down to the dragon.

"Wha--!? Ying!! What have you done?!" Fang shouted, which flinched Ying.

"Me?! You were attacking Yaya! What have you done?!" Ying replied back.

"What else?! I was defending from her!" Fang pointed at the sky which Ying followed and saw Yaya, unscathed from the fight. "She suddenly attacked me! Look how beat up I am!" Fang remarked but Ying was slow to understand, she was confused as she looked at her best friend, Yaya.

"Why... why did she--!" Before she could continue, Fang grabbed her from harms way since Yaya launched large boulders at their way. "Yaya?!" Her eyes widen as she saw Yaya grabbing more and more rocks to launch at Ying and Fang, "What's wrong?! Why are you doing this?!" Ying asked.

"Eish! She's not gonna answer you! I already did only to get beaten up!" Fang replied, "Come on! We have to get out of here before she uses Gravity Pull on us!" Fang said as he grabs Ying's arm and attempted to drag her and him out of this place, only for Ying not to budge on her spot, "Ying!!" Fang shouted, snapping her out from some trance and yanked her arm away from Fang and instead took his arm and used her powers to speed up back to Tok Aba's shop.

"What!?" Ochobot floated next to Ying, explaining what happened to her when she found Fang, "Yeah... I don't know much happened though..." Ying finished and turned her head to Fang, "So what did happen, Fang?" Ying asked.

"I.. I'm not sure either..." Fang answered, "She had this p-picture that made her attack me... all of a sudden!" he added, "It.. must've been like a trigger..." Fang pondered but his eyelids became heavier and heavier as he blinked and not long did he collapsed but before he could hit the ground, Ochobot and Adu Du was able to catch him.

"Woah there!" Adu Du said, helping Fang to stand and get him to lay down gently on the grass.

Seeing this, Boboiboy hummed in concern for his new friend, "Hmm... I think we should go to the house, Atok." Boboiboy suggested, "And let him rest there." he added.

Tok Aba nodded, "You're right." Tok Aba said, turning to Kaizo who was fretting over the fallen child, Tok Aba placed his hand on Kaizo's shoulder, "Help me get him to my house, we'll place him there." Tok Aba asked and to his surprise, Kaizo shook 'No' and stood up with him carrying Fang in his arms.

"Huh?! What do you mean by that?" Gopal asked.

"I'll get him to a safer place." Kaizo answered bluntly and turned to Lahap, "You know what to do." he said.

Lahap saluted to the man and immediately scurried off. They all saw Lahap leaving without a word, without facing Kaizo, Boboiboy asked, "Is it your spaceship?" he could feel the man nodding.

"It's safer there." Kaizo claimed, "I'll have Lahap prepare his bed and have him protect Fang as he sleeps." he explained, "We'll-- I... I have to investigate on what happened." Kaizo turned to Ying, "You said she was at the clearing? She must've been gone already... but she might just stay just around the woods." he said.

Ying rubbed her temples, "Wait, wait, wait!" she said, looking up to the man, "Are you trying to go alone? Yaya is our friend too, you know! We'll help you investigate!" Ying said and the other kids nodding in agreement.

But Kaizo had an indifferent look on his face, unconvinced so Gopal stepped in with his own speech, "Yeah lah! We're capable enough not to get defeated by this ancient!" Gopal pointed at Adu Du, which left the latter a tick on his forehead.

"Dey!!"

Boboiboy walked closer to the man, "Yaya is our friend, we want to know what happened, we're concerned." Boboiboy said, only for Kaizo to groan in annoyance.

"True, but can you fight you're own friend?" Kaizo asked, which left the kids feel uneasy. Kaizo sighed in defeat before continuing, "I know you're worried and concerned, but for your safety and for hers, I have to go on my own." Kaizo said, "Besides, we're not sure what is going on, what if that wasn't Yaya in the first place?" the question left the kids to wonder but that didn't mean that their uneasiness and worries had dissipated.

"Look, things will be easier and faster if I go." Kaizo said, causing everyone to give him puzzled looks, he sighed, "Trust me, I've been on solo missions before." Kaizo added, "And for now, let's get Fang to a safe place." as he said this, a looming shadow covered them and looking up, it was a spaceship that they've never seen before.

Ochobot looks back to Kaizo, "Yours?" he asked and saw Kaizo slightly smiled and nodded.

In the dark side of the room, a hand punched a metallic wall, "Blasted!" the voice boomed in frustration, their red armor showing a slight reflection to a young person from across the room. "You let him get away?!" He questioned and threw something heavy to the young one, fortunately it missed its target.

The young person didn't flinch, not one bit when the said person who threw a heavy metal towards them walked into the light, revealing it to be Ejo Jo.
