it was the middle of 6th grade. and today at school, hueningkai told taehyun he wanted to meet the guy that he always yaps about. otherwise known as beomgyu.
now, they were walking to the hospital to visit beomgyu.
"so, do you like this beomgyu dude? you're always talking about him." hueningkai giggled at how quickly taehyun got flustered.
"w-what?! of course i don't! h-he's a boy, and i-i am.. too!" he quickly defended himself from the sudden accusation.
"if you didn't like him, why are you being so defensive?" hueningkai laughed. he must've found it funny to torture other people.
"i don't believe that you don't like him. you always blush when you start barking about him." he said.
"b-barking?" not gonna lie, that caught taehyun off guard. barking?
"talking." the younger corrected himself.
"w-whatever! we're here." taehyun rushed into the hospital, leaving hueningkai behind.
"hello, we're here to visit choi beomgyu." taehyun pointed to himself and the boy outside trying to catch up with taehyun.
"okay, room 304." the receptionist smiled. taehyun thanked her and dragged hueningkai to beomgyu's room.
"kai, don't startle him, okay? or else this is the last time you'll meet him." taehyun warned before opening the door.
"hi beomgyuu!" his mood completely changed as soon as that door opened, leaving hueningkai confused.
"hi taehyun, and.. his friend?" the boy turned his head towards the door.
"i'm hueningkai!! it's nice to finally meet my friend's boyfriend!" he ran over to beomgyu and shook his hand excitedly. beomgyu swore his arm would fall off.
"boyfriend?" he looked at the boy, baffled.
"kai! he's not my boyfriend!" taehyun covered his face in embarrassment. "i'm not even gay.." he said with an unsure tone.
"keep telling yourself that.." the youngest of them all muttered under his breath.
beomgyu chuckled softly.
"you're funny, hueningkai."
"beomgyu! you're just encouraging him even further!" taehyun whined.
"jealousy is a disease, and you have it!" hueningkai exclaimed.
