ever since taehyun realized his feelings for beomgyu, it's been hard visiting him. he's not as chatty with the older as before.

it's been about a month since he realized that he liked beomgyu. the boy he had a 4 year friendship with. right now, he was standing behind beomgyu's room, unsure if he should enter or not.

then, a tap on his shoulder. taehyun turned around in surprise, wondering who tapped him.

"taehyun? why are you outside my room? why didn't you just go in?" beomgyu questioned. taehyun realized it was beomgyu and started blushing profusely from the small contact they made.

"i-i- uh- um.." he fumbled over his words, not sure what to say to the boy in the hospital gown. the only thing he has seen beomgyu wear since he came here.

the older boy chuckled at taehyun's sudden embarrassment. "you're cute, taehyun." he said, gently holding taehyun's wrist and bringing him in.

taehyun became flustered instantly from the sudden compliment and skin contact.

"what- what were you doing outside of your room?" he managed to say, despite his heart screaming.

"i had to piss." beomgyu bluntly said, making taehyun laugh. "can you push my bed against your old bed?" he asked, his hand still holding taehyun's wrist.

"mhm." neither of them seemed to notice until taehyun tried to pull his hand away, but couldn't due to beomgyu holding it.

"oh- sorry." beomgyu chuckled. taehyun's heart just started to beat faster. he quickly pushed their beds together.

"what did you want me to push our beds together for?" he turned to beomgyu.

"i wanted to lay with you, but my bed isn't big enough for the both of us." beomgyu smiled.

taehyun's eyes opened slightly. "a-ah. i see."

beomgyu looked at him, expectantly. taehyun looked at him, confused.

"aren't you gonna lay on your bed?" beomgyu said, quietly coughing after.

"right." taehyun nervously chuckled, getting on the bed that was against the wall.

shortly after, beomgyu sat down on his bed, next to taehyun.

at this rate, taehyun's heart would jump out if he did something else!

and he did. he laid his head on taehyun's shoulder and closed his eyes, taehyun slightly tensing up.

"i feel like you don't like me anymore. why?" beomgyu quietly said. it broke taehyun's heart hearing that.

"what do you mean by that, beomgyu?" taehyun finally grew the balls to wrap an arm around beomgyu's waist, unconsciously pulling him closer.

"you don't talk about things as much anymore, and you just don't seem very comfortable around me. you seem rather tense." beomgyu cuddled up closer to taehyun, on his side of the bed now. maybe both of them did fit on one bed, after all.

"i didn't know you felt like that. i promise, i don't dislike you." it was more like the opposite, actually.

beomgyu hummed in satisfaction.
