🌈A Lovely Memory🌈

You and wally walked to the door, wally knocked before standing back beside you.
You heard voices and rustling before the door swung open, julie beamed in happiness "you two made it!! Oh dont you two look lovely matching like that!!"
You blinked 'matching?'
You looked at wally and your own outfit, he was wearing a dark blue sweater and white pants, while you were wearing a white sweater and dark blue pants.
"Oh..uhm..that went unintentional actually"
Julie smirked "right, well you know what they say! People who are close will think alike!"
Wally tilted his head "i dont think thats-"
Julie quickly pulled you both inside "come in!"
You stumbled after julie, you followed her through a hallway and into a kitchen where barnaby and frank were talking.

Barnaby noticed you first "wally! Y/N! Ya made it!"
You smiled happily walking over to them "barnaby! Frank! Hi!"
Frank looked at you "hello Y/N, we're glad to see you here!"
Barnaby wrapped his arm around your shoulder "soooo..i see you got a pretty tin there"
You laughed "yes yes! You can taste a cookie"
You opened the tin offering everyone a cookie which they happily accepted and ate.
"Oh my Y/N! These are deliscious!" Poppy chirped happily.
You smiled nudging wally "ive had great help"
Wally chuckled wrapping his arm around your shoulder "you bet you did~"
Poppy smiled "my arent you two adorable!"
Your cheeks turned bright red, wally just laughed waving poppy up "oh poppy you are too nice!"

The night continued on with fun games and conversations.
You got yourself a drink in the kitchen, wally leaned against the counter beside you "im happy to see you have so much fun"
You smiled "how can i not? Everyone is so nice and the games are so fun!"
Wally chuckled "at first i thought it was going to be overwhelming for you, but it almost seems like you've been coming here for years!"
You laughed softly "it feels that way! Everyone is so welcoming..as if ive known them for years..especially you wally"
He looked at you, your eyes locked with his as you turned to him.
Your fingers brushed his hand as he took your hand in his "have..i told you how pretty you kook tonight?"
You looked at him "you havent..actually"
Wally placed his other hand on your cheek "well..pretty wouldnt be the right word anyways.."
The two of you leaned in "breath taking..is more like it.."
Before you could say anything wally's lips pressed against yours, his lips were soft, he tasted of apples and wine.
You closed your eyes as the kiss got deeper, your arms found their way around his neck and his arms around your waist.
You tangled your hand in his hair, he smiled against your lips "huh..you kiss nice..♡"
You giggled softly "so do you..♡"
Wally opened his mouth to speak but you shut him up with another kiss, he kissed back holding you closer against him.

A snapping noise filled the kitchen, you leaned back from wally and looked over at barnaby with the camera, the others giggling and peeking at you from behind him.
Barnaby smirked taking the photo from the polaroid camera and waved it in the air "gotta make memories dont we?"
Wally stumbled over his words "b-barnaby! Y-you! Why!"
You walked to barnaby "can i see if it came out nice?"
You looked at the picture "oh its so cute!"
Barnaby got a pen and wrote the date at the bottom of the photo handing it to you "here you go! I think its a cute photo!"
You walked over to wally showing the photo, he wrapped his arm around your waist looking at it.
"Yeah, thats a lovely memory♡"
