"Cat- "she shook her head "Akaza-san!!"

Indeed Akaza was standing there with his arms crossed above his chest, staring down at the girl with a condescending look. Despite that, Y/n ran until she was standing right in front of him.

"Akaza-san, you finally came", she said excitedly as she stared up at him, sparkles in her eyes.

The demon looked down at the girl and the first thing he noticed was her swollen cheek which was now bandaged, he also spotted the bruises on other parts of her body.

"What happened to you?" he asked.

"Eh?" Y/n was a bit surprised at his sudden question. She touched her bandaged cheek and her expression turned sour as she remembered that awful experience.

'Those jerks' she gritted her teeth.

He clicked his tongue. "Weak."

"I'm not weak!!" she retorted immediately. "There were three of them and they ganged up against me!" she showed him three fingers.

Akaza was silent for while.

"Still weak."

"Am not!" Out of rage, she punched him right above his knee, where she could easily reach. The demon didnt even flinch and just gave her a look that said, "Really? That all you got?"

She crossed her arms and looked the other way with a pout. After sulking for some seconds, an idea popped inside her head.

She quickly turned to him. "Akaza-san! Teach me how to fight!" she raised her fists in the air in an attack stance.

Fight.

Now that's the word he liked to hear. But...
"How did you know I could fight?" he raised a brow.

"Well..." she averted her eyes. "Cats are really good at fighting...for some reason"

He cast a glare at her and she quickly tried to correct herself.

"I-I mean you look like the type of person who fights a lot. Y-you're outfit makes you look like a fighter."

He stared down at her with an imposing look.

Taking it as her cue to go on, she gave a slight bow and almost yelled out of desperation, "Please teach me how to fight Akaza-san!"

There was silence for a while.

"Alright." He simply said which made her shoot her head up. She was not expecting him to agree so easily.

"Really?" She stared at him to make sure he was joking. When she saw that he was serious, she was delighted.
"Yes! Thank you Akaza-san."

'Now I can kick those stupid kids butts.' She kicked the empty space at the thought.

"But on two conditions."

Y/n abruptly stopped her rejoicing and looked at him. "What?"

He crouched down till he was at her level staring into her eyes. "You'll stop telling your parents about me. Got it?"

She might be foolish and ignorant about the fact that he was a demon but if her parents found out, he was pretty sure all hell would break loose.

She nodded furiously. "I promise Akaza-san. What's the second one?"

"Don't fight for revenge." He stared at here intensely. "This one is important."

She looked a bit disappointed and sighed. But she eventually gave in and gave a small bow.

"Yes, Akaza-sensei. I promise i won't fight for revenge."
