Cool breeze blew past, creating a soft rustling sound as the leaves swayed back and forth. The moon was at its peak in the night sky, shining brilliantly and casting a soft, silvery light over the landscape. The shimmering beams of moonlight reflect off the still surface of the lakes creating a mesmerizing display of sparkling reflections that danced and rippled in the water. The night was quiet, tranquil, broken only by the occasional hoots of an owl or the gentle chirping of crickets.

In the dark night, somewhere in the middle of the thick forest, very faint footsteps could be heard only if one was very attentive, shadows ran through the thick hordes of bushes.

The peaceful serenity of the night was disrupted by the rapid movement of shadows darting through the forest. The shadows moved quickly and silently, their forms barely visible in the dim light of the moon. They dart between the trees, moving with a speed and precision that suggest they are pursuing something. Rather, one was being pursued by the other.

The woman, who was being chased, ran with such speed that was not capable by the average human, she used her strong senses to avoid her chaser all the while trying her best to conceal her presence. Even though the person pursuing her was much stronger, she had a better weapon under her sleeve; the ability to mask not just her scent, but her presence as well. With this trump card, she was able to run further, trudging deeper into the forest.

On another side of the thick forest, a girl and demon raced through, their footsteps padded on the soil. The girl's laughter echoed as the demon ran behind her, his supernatural speed allowing him to keep up with her agile form effortlessly. They darted between the trees, dodging roots and branches with ease. Despite her swift pace, Y/n moved with a playful and practiced grace, her movements fluid and efficient. Occasionally, the girl would let out a delighted shriek as Akaza caught up to her, only to dart away again with a coy grin. He rolled his eyes; it wasn't like he was even chasing her.

"Why not light up a signal fire bright enough to tell the world our location." he stated as he ran.

Akaza huffed at her lack of volume control. Then, with a smirk on his face he blazed past her with remarkable speed, leaving her behind

"Not fair!" she laughed, increasing her pace to meet up with him.

As they ran, they took advantage of the trees for extra mobility. Akaza swung from one tree to another with ease, his lithe body moving through the air like a panther. The girl followed suit, her smaller frame more agile and nimble as she used the branches to propel herself forward. After two years of practicing, she was finally able to use the trees without falling and springing her ankle.

In the middle of their exercise, Akaza spotted a figure from above, it stood on the ground level mindlessly wandering through the bushes looking for prey.

Y/n had noticed it too and a smile spread across her lips, she looked excited and somewhat...crazed.
