Gladys thought she got hell from Sonny when he confronted her for defrauding Sasha's accounts to pay her gambling debts, but she didn't expect the nightmare to come when she was finally able to get some sleep. But sleep was the last thing she got when she faced Brando's rage in her nightmare:

"What were you thinking of, Mother!" Brando demanded of her.
"Brando, I'm so sorry!" was all Gladys could say to her son.
"Really, Mother, I gave you a second chance and you try to make it look like Sasha went insane?!" Brando said as he shook his finger at his mother.
Gladys' was left speechless over her guilt at what she did to her daughter-in-law.
"You better be glad I'm dead because Sonny didn't give you enough hell!" Brando raged at his mother. "If I was alive, I'd have killed you!"
Gladys woke with a jolt from her nightmare. Brando's words to her finally gave her the inclination to do what was right!
Gladys headed to the PCPD...
