Franco was in a quandary wondering why Kevin cut him off so fast. Kevin was helping him with his memories of his childhood abuse. Franco wanted to know what was up with Kevin? Kevin was always a responsible doctor when it came to his patients. So for Kevin to just drop him on a whim—it just wasn't like Kevin. And for Kevin to end his marriage to Laura and take up with Ava—well, that was weird—considering how in love Kevin was with Laura. Franco decided he was going to keep an eye on Kevin and his business dealings.
Hearing footsteps outside Kevin's office, Franco quickly hid in Kevin's bathroom, when Kevin came in to look for something. After Kevin left about 10 minutes later, Franco came out of hiding and noticed something on the floor of Kevin's office—it was Kiki's driver's license.
"Hmmmm...I wonder what Kiki's driver's license is doing here in Kevin's office?" Franco wondered to himself.
Then Franco remembered that the PCPD said the killer was some copycat of Ryan Chamberlain's crimes. But it still didn't tell him why Kiki's driver's license was in Kevin's office?
Then, Franco saw Kevin at the nurse's station talking with Elizabeth...
"Liz, have you seen Franco?" Kevin inquired.
"No, Dr. Collins, I haven't seen Franco since we parted ways this morning?" Liz replied.
"Okay. If you do see him...will you tell him I need to see him?"
"Yes, I will do that, Dr. Collins." Liz assured him.
As Kevin walked off, Franco walked up to the nurse's station as a surprised Liz kissed Franco on the lips.
"Wow! What did I do to deserve that?" Franco exclaimed.
"That's for being a wonderful fiance and father-figure to my boys." Liz said happily.
"Well, I guess I'll just have to keep doing that." Franco said, kissing her back.
"Ahem!" Epiphany exclaimed. "This is a hospital!"
"Sorry," Liz said, embarrassed.
"I think you two need to stop the PDA and get back to work." Epiphany scolded the two of them.
"Yes, Epiphany." Liz said as Franco gave Liz a quick peck on the cheek to say he'd see her later.
"Oh, Franco," Liz said, "Kevin was looking for you?"
"Yeah. I know." Franco said.
"You do? How do you know that?" Liz said confused, not knowing he was standing nearby when Kevin was talking to her.
"Uh, I saw Kevin when I came to see you." Franco covered, not wanting to worry her as he decided to investigate Kevin.
"Oh, ok."
"I'll find Kevin later. Right now I have pressing matters to do." Franco said, not wanting to tell Liz he was keeping an eye on Kevin.
"Ok. I love you." Liz said as Franco headed off.
"Love you too." Franco said as he turned the corner to head to his art studio.
As soon as Franco got to his studio in General Hospital, he took out the file he thought was his and took a look at it. He was shocked to discover notes written by Kevin about his twin brother, Ryan Chamberlain. Franco wondered why Kevin would keep such extensive notes on Ryan.
Then he found some other notes that were not in Kevin's handwriting...notes that revealed a plan for Ryan to take over Kevin's life. So that was why Kevin was acting so weird. He wasn't Kevin at all...he was his twin...Ryan was masquerading as Dr. Kevin Collins.
Now, Franco just had to prove it!
