"Oh, dear child..." A deep crackling voice crept around a dark void. Its dark voice felt so tender, yet a cold breeze swept the empty place.

"So... cold..." Valor tried to adjust to the new realm he found himself in. It was a strange one, he felt a kinship, but couldn't recall any time he had been here. "Where is this... place?" The dead man questioned.

"You have died... It's been quite a while since you've been here..." The dislocated voice spoke all around Valor.

"I thought I wasted my soul fuel... I thought-"

"Your existence would be erased? Yes, that should have been what happened, but someone intervened..."

"Who the hell intervenes with my soul being erased!" Anger boiled within Valor.

"Well, you just said it..."

"Hell?" Valor grew confused.

"Yes, a lord of hell wants to have a... conversation with you..." The voice didn't sound surprised.

"God dammit! Why couldn't I be left dead? Why couldn't I be erased!" Violence surged through Valor, causing him to punch the nonexistent empty ground. "Why! Why, Why! Why... was I not left alone..."

"Dear child, why are you so eager to be nothing? Don't you even want to have a chance to be with your family?" The voice questioned.

"Well... since your death, I guess you can tell I am never getting to heaven..."

"Why not? You are a hero..."

"A hero? No... I am just a warrior who does the dirty work for many people, a man who was only fueled by revenge he could never achieve, and in pursuit of finding his family's murderer, he has committed more wrongs than rights... I am a failure" Negativity shrouded the mind of Valor, he finally started to give up on his happy ending.

"Oh young child, of all the things I see and yet do nothing about, I feel nothing but hypocrisy when I complain of such unfairness, at times I feel like a failure..."

"Ha... haha, I guess you have a rougher than me death..." Valor slowly started to rise to his feet. "But... can I even continue...?"

"What do you mean?"

"All the things that have happened to me, the people I have lost, I do not think I can continue like this..."

"Valor, from a young age, I have seen you take on tasks that would put you in the realm of gods, you have done things humans could not even comprehend..."

"I am so tired, I feel weak. I have not seen my wife and daughter in ten years and will never see them again. What is the point in existence if you can't even be with the ones you love, the people who bring you joy?" Valor asked Death.

"I can not answer per se because I can not make you find a purpose in existence, but I will say that the things witnessed by my eyes show me that existence... can make things more valuable. So I suggest you try to remember the times you love most and make that your goal." Wisdom spoken from Death.

"Haha, getting told by Death that existence is valuable..." Valor laughed at the irony of the situation.

"Hahaha yes this is quite a situation..."

"Now I suppose I can not do anything, but accept that this warrior will have to keep going on!"

"Yes yes, young child that is the spirit!"

"Now tell me, which lord of hell needs my presence?"

"I believe the almighty sin of pride has asked for you..."

"Oh great... it is Lucifer..."

"Yes, I know it sounds bad, but I will say he is not as bad as they say he is. He can rather be quite charming..."

"That does not give me confidence in this situation..."

"Well, you will have to trust me this time..."

"Okay, I guess I will because it is not like he could make my life any harder..."

"I suppose you have experienced hell early..."

"Enough now, I do not think a lord of hell is going to be waiting for long without a tantrum..." Valor blatantly insulted.

"Fearless like ever..." Death joked while a cracked conjure across the black void formed a portal to hell. "It is done, now I guess this is the time we part ways, so I hope I do not need to see you here again..."

"So harsh, but I hope so too..." Valor agreed, taking his first steps towards the widened crack that leaked into the realm of hell. This situation had never befallen anyone before, so anxiety overtook him. "Before I go to hell, I must ask? Won't the judge be mad since I am not being weighed for my sins?"

"No, he does not know of your existence he can not even tell if you are dead or alive, Lucifer did a great job of hiding your existence!" Death was a bit joyful at this fact.

"This is just great..." A sigh came from Valor, he couldn't put this off anymore and so he decided to take more steps until his feet reached the edge. "This is goodbye, old friend, we had a great talk, but I must go to hell now... yay..." Valor taking his last step.

He was now in hell.
