Be there for me!

Y/N POV

It was slowly getting dark when I reached the club to meet up with Jennie and Lisa. As I made my way inside, I saw both of them already chugging down shots. "Started without me?" I spoke as I neared them.

"Y/Nieeee!!!!" They both exclaimed as they threw their arms around me, giving me a tight hug. I reciprocated the same having missed them so much these past days.

"We haven't seen you since marriage, so today you can't leave until we say so" Jennie declared while I chuckled. "Damn right!!!" Lisa joined in agreeing with Jennie.

"I'm all yours tonight girls! Let's get this party started" I took a shot glass, raising it in the air. "Yes!!!" They both yelled, grabbing their glasses as well.  All three of us gulped our drink letting the solution burn through our throats.

"Let's go dance!" Lisa squealed in excitement taking mine and Jennie's hand, leading us to the dance floor. 

The past few weeks have been very hard on me. The unwanted marriage, the nasty breakup, the heavy work. I needed this break now more than ever. I wanted my girls around me to make me feel myself again. Funny, how you grow fond of your female friendships more as you grow up. Am I right?

Taehyung POV

It was late in the evening when I wrapped up my work at the office, and I was packing my things to leave when my secretary rushed into my cabin.

"Sir, there is an emergency at the reception" She spoke between heavy breaths. "Why? What happened?" I asked. "Ms.Lee (Y/N's mother) was leaving the building but suddenly collapsed"

A wave of fear crossed me and I ran to the reception area with my secretary beside me and saw Ms.Lee unconscious on the ground. I saw my guards and employees trying to wake her but she wasn't moving at all. Terrified, I reached infront of her and moved away all the others.

"Get my car" I ordered one of the guards as I picked up Ms.Lee from the ground and walked towards the entrance. Shortly, my car arrived and I got us inside while instructing the driver to take us to the hospital.

As Ms.Lee stayed comatose beside me, my panic levels were rising. I rang Y/N's number as I panicked about how I was gonna break the news to her. She will be devastated to hear this. My cell kept ringing but it was never answered. She didn't pick up, as usual.

"Why won't she ever pick up my call?" I groaned in frustration as I searched for my Mom's number. Thankfully, she answered the call and I told her about the situation. And she said she and my dad are gonna come soon.

As we reached the hospital, the doctors took her inside on a stretcher to inspect her condition. I stood outside the emergency room pacing around with my heartbeat at my throat, praying that it shouldn't be anything serious.

And funnily enough, my worry was not for me but for Y/N. She wasn't even here and didn't even know the situation but I was scared for her. Scared to worry her, scared to see her sad.

Soon, I saw my mom and dad entering the hospital with worried faces as well. "Where is Y/N?" was the first thing my mom asked me. "I don't know, mom. She is not picking up her phone" I huffed running my hand through my hair.

Concerns aside, Y/N's ignorance did frustrate me. What important work she might be doing that she can't answer my call? 

"Taehyung, maybe she's home. Why don't you go check it, we will be here" My dad suggested. And he was right. Maybe she was tired and went home to sleep.

Agreeing with him, I got back into my car and drove towards my home. 

As I arrived at home, I rushed inside and searched for Y/N in every corner of the house but there was no sign of her. She is not at the office, not at home, then where the hell is she? So irresponsible! I was beyond annoyed at this point.
